Will check them out. Jukebox down local had winds of change on compilation album and some local stoner always put it on because he travelled germany in late 80s and it was like the song of his "trip" - literally I think.

I'm a 90s child so scorpions passed me by.

This will be an interesting fight. Both work behind a high guard, both are patient and look to make their punches count when they unleash. If the Golovkin defeat hasn't made Murray gun shy, he's in with a shout.

Haha, I remember being in a bar in Copenhagen years ago and a bunch of vested, mullet heads played Wind of Change about 8 times in succession on the jukebox.

This should be a good fight,both guys similar in ability and not a million miles apart in styles either,Murray's been looking strong at SMW,although this is the acid test,4th time of asking for a world title,Sturm fight was close i thought Felix nicked but i didnt score fights back then so maybe i could have had Martin winning or the draw,i thought he beat Martinez by a couple points and that was without scoring the 2nd KD he should have got,so he is unfortunate not to have held a world title,Golovkin obviously gave him a beating but he did hang around longer that Gennady's other opponents

Abraham still blowing hot and cold,looked great last time out in the 4th Stieglitz fight although Robert looked shot,if he has one of his lazy nights against Murray then i think Martin outworks him and gets the nod,if he's on form like he has been in his last to fights then Arthur will be competitve until the end

I think Abraham will have his moments but i think Murray is better in every department,Abraham being at home is always gonna be a worry with the judges but this is Murray's best ever shot at a title and i think eventually it will be his time,probably by a SD

Murray has a better work rate but I think AA is the one who is better in every department.

Think murray hits harder than smith and AA looked abit rocked in the first fight,if AA from the smith first fight turns up MM will stop him i think if not MM gets beat by UD

If Smith reads that about Murray hitting harder then you are responsible for a full families misery today in Liverpool.

A rematch? Why not fight him three more times like Steiglitz? I mean, he's bound to win at least one, right? Then we can all talk about how crooked things are in Germany because they wouldn't give Murray the decision in a fight he didn't win.

Seriously though, I can't see the need for a rematch, I thought Abraham beat him clearly.

its like they say Murray needed a ko out in germany every one does . did well scrappy tough close up fight, home fighter always gets the decision, not much much in it

I thought Murray's tactics were all wrong. You simply don't tackle a bigger stronger man going 'face on'. Quite clearly the plan was to try to hold the centre of the ring , throw straight punches and if forced back to the ropes dive forward and smother until the ref picks up on it.
Murray was flat footed when he should have been on his toes. I couldn't believe his lack of movement. He clearly is a middleweight, and he will never beat Abraham. At super middle he's become too slow. I try not to blame trainers, but .......

Murray won't be a world champion at smw, Abraham was his easiest route to a belt.

Murray is a good lad, but not world class.

What you stated above is his standard operating procedure - have you ever seen him do anything different in a fight ? ( he certainly is not able to change tactics mid fight).

He has had 4 cracks at us and I can't see any justification for a fifth - without being smart he doesn't have the personality or boxing style to justify it.

Like others, I would love to see a fight with Paul Smith and maybe George Groves.

Anyone else see the similarities between Murray and Howard Eastman? For me, both have that solid, technical approach but the inability to go through the gears when it really matters - there's always the inference that there is more in the locker but in both cases they've never been able to show that when it matters... so frustrating.

Unfortunately this statement is bang on the money, just not quite good enough

I don't think he'll be a world champion at any weight now, had a lot of chances, admittedly did it the hard way every time and came up short each time.
This was as winnable a chance as he was likely to get and he's proven just short of world class with another decent, but not quite good enough, performance at world level.

I expect him to win a couple fights and maybe be lined up with a big money fight against a British fighter at some point, perhaps for his last attempt at a world title.
