So Eddie Hearn has decided too place Anthony Joshuas fight with Dillian Whyte onto ppv. Personally I think this is ridiculous. I mean sure its got Spike vs Eubank Jr but I don't think this event is ppv worthy. What does everyone else think?

If people buy it in big enough numbers then it is PPV worthy.

I won't be buying it, but plenty of others will.

I don't think I'll be buying it, I just don't think the cards good enough.

Now this has gone to ppv I will make a prediction, either Whyte or Joshua will pull out injured in the run up.

Can see the thinking for making it a PPV. There's "name" appeal for the general Sky Sports viewer. I think however it sets a worrying precedent for the future if this is considered PPV worthy for Joshua. Just wait til he fights opponents who are actually noteworthy.

Knew this was going to happen. Hearn loves too squeeze every penny out of every viewing customer.

Check out Whyte's record, there is no way on gods green earth he belongs as a headline pay-per-view fighter.

2 weeks after Fury's fight , no thanks from me. As that Tory MP said if things get tight then stop paying for TV and this will be one card I can do without. A load of bums being knocked over is not PPV worthy

Was it Eddie's decision or Adam Smiths? Matchroom presumably already had the fighters signed up, so the PPV decision would more likely have been made by Sky. Pure Sky greed at the expense of the sport we love. This show should be on in bars up and down the country, and not restricted to PPV. Short termist bastards.

Nowhere near interesting enough for a PPV, especially 2 weeks after a proper PPV fight. I definitely won't be buying.

Enough of the mugs will pay for it though. The types who photograph their tickets or their Sky Box office screen in the hope of an Eddie Twitter retweet. It's madness.

Was probably more Smiths decision, but Hearn still loves too grab every penny out of hard working fans.

Sticking Josh Warrington and Luke Campbell on and then telling them they can't have any tickets is a new low for Eddie. I'm sure he's not thought about the tens of thousands of extra buys those two will generate though...

If Wlad does Fury early which is very possible it will affect this quite bad.

This is like sky making Chelsea/Qpr a ppv just because they don't get on then chucking leeds against some non league side just to make up the viewing figures. Imagine the reaction if this was to happen.

would like to see this show but just cant let myself pay for it, why on earth this needs to be ppv is beyond me, the fighters cant be getting paid that much surely ? and if thats the reason just pay them less, they are still learning the game for gods sake.
