A boxer who barely wins over Rossy and suffers a KD is a worthless boxer...

Stiverne is definitely a mediocre fighter. I don't figure he'll ascend to a Title again in his career. He was basically handed the won that he did win on a silver platter.

I was shocked when people said wilder would get destroyed by this bum, i've always thought he was useless and didn't have a single good thing about him(not saying wilder is ali), hopefully julius long calls him out after his god tier peformance v the new age white mike tyson Lucas Browne, would be one hell of a fight

The scores were also close though. 96-93 2x and 95-94. So Rossy was able to fight Stiverne closer than he was just able to perform against a previous unknown 16-0 prospect. Stiverne will lose again the next time he fights a top rated fighter I'd imagine. He's just not that good.
I mean he doesn't outright suck, but his power is the only thing he has. He's an average boxer, with pretty damn good power.

Stiverne needs to retire. He obviously blew his load in 2 electric performances vs Arreola. I lost a chunk of money betting him to win by KO last night against a 35 year-old journeyman who's highest level in boxing was reaching a British Prizefighter final only to be blasted out with ease agaisnt Audley Harrison.
Stiverne is 37 and clearly finished. Apparently he turned down a bigger fight (with Ortiz?) to fight a tomato can on an untelevised card, that tells me he knows himself he has nothing left and his only option for a payday now is a freakshow bout with Shannon Briggs.

Rossy isn't too bad, but damn... Stiverne has been a "champion" not too long ago.
Forget him.

Kind of what I expected.
Stiverne was overrated and I don't think he's improved since being schooled for nearly 10 rounds by old Ray Austin, not to mention that the Wilder beating probably didn't help either. He was somewhat of a one-hit wonder in my opinion and even a limited guy like Rossy is arguably the third best fighter he's beaten.

Stiverne was one of the top heavyweights in the world. Then he signed with Don King. Inactive for close to a year then enters a fight weighing almost 20 pounds more than he did in his losing effort against Welder. If he had walked through Rossy I would've said he's back as a contender. This performance indicates he's through as a top-level fighter. Povetkin would kayo him in a round or two. The giants like Fury and Wach would smother and maul him until he collapses from exhaustion. King did him no favour by bribing the judges.

I have no clue what ever made people think Stiverne was one of the best in the world, I think Rossy was actually the 2nd or 3rth best opponend he has ever faced in his entire life.
Stiverne received a belt for free, yes that's true, but it wasn't like he actually won it or anything like that, he was just a bumfighter who eventually got a good record. Pretty much just like Deontay Wilder for example.

Winning the title messed him up.He partied like it was 1999.
Jet setting all over the world like a rock star.
Money ruined him.Now it is gone and he is going to lose some fights to anyone in the top 20.
