Ricky Hatton vs Amir Khan @ 140

So both had a good career at 140 and had totally different styles, would Khan be able to keep Ricky off him all night? Or would Ricky struggle to get on the inside where he loved to work?
When I try and imagine the fight I see it going like Khan v Maidana but Ricky was more intelligent with his aggression and had an underrated (by some) jab. I would put my money on Ricky by points in a close and exciting fight.
I hear Malignaggi relies to most people on Twitter and as he fought both I would like to hear who he would pick, can someone send him a message and ask him please.

Hatton, stoppage, Khan's exciting but he's thick as fornicate and leaves himself open to a left hook on the chin.

It'd be a re-run of the Garcia fight - Khan would look good early until he got caught & stopped.

Hatton KO 6 or 7. The steady pressure would eventually allow him to catch Khan with a hook, and take him out. Khan would outbox him up until then, but he doesn't have the firepower to stop Hatton I don't think.

I see it being a more brutal version of the Lamont Peterson fight. Khan clueless on how to keep the distance, pushing off, looking for the ref for help, etc, before getting a bit of a sustained beating late on & ref stoppage.

Hatton did have a great left hook but I don't think it was as powerful as Garcia's and Khan got up from his and was stopped on his feet, I just see Khan running and holding all night for a 117-111 type of loss.

Hatton up to the KT fight brutalises him. I don't think he was ever quite the same after tho. Ultimately Amir is just too fragile to live with an on fire hitman

I think a bit of clarification is needed. Hatton was an excellent lww, Khan was above average.
Hatton savages him at lww.

Hatton by stoppage/ Khan's glass chin wouldn't survive a 12 round onslaught of a peak Hatton.

Khan hasn't got a glass chin.Prescott Them Punches Would Finished 99% of Fighters.Garcia Got Up From Big Shot. And Was In Better Condition To Continue when stopped. And Remember Took Everything Miadana Had.Do You Not Remember The Sledgehammer Right Hand Khan Got Nailed with In Round 10.

He can't hold a shot well. He's so vulnerable.

The sledgehammer fight hand that had him wobbling around the ring for the next minute?
Down against Drilzane, down against Limond, down against Gomez, knocked out by Prescott, badly hurt by Maidana, stopped by Garcia and down against Diaz. Craig Watson put him down in the amateurs too.
Not exactly the record you'd expect from a fighter with a solid chin and that's only the bits I can remember, might be more on top of that.

Hatton wouldn't need to ko him with one punch. Once he had him hurt he'd do a much better job of finishing him than Maidana did, with his quicker feet to close the distance and more compact punches once khan was on his bandy pins it would be spaghetti sandwich time.

People really underrate exactly how good Hatton was. Mayweather struggled to keep at range never mind Khan! Hatton was also THE champion at 140 for years and has the exact style Khan struggles with. Straightforward win for the hitman.

If Khan doesn't have a glass chin, I'd like to know who does.

Khan panics when caught clean. His defence is poor and he leaves his chin out to be hit. He has not got a good chin. Willie Limond should've probably stopped him, Gomez had him going, we've seen him doing the shaky leg dance lots against non punchers. He kept it together against Maidana to his credit. It was a daft punch to be caught with though!

Give him 6 months to train ,a easy couple of warm up fights and the HITMAN WOULD ko HIM in 2016

No he wouldn't.
But he would have stopped him back in the day - early as well.

Hatton was so quick of hand and foot, he'd have no problem closing down Khan and punishing him. I don't even think Khan would have had any sustained periods of 'outboxing' Hatton as Ricky was a lot more defensively astute than some people gave him credit for with his feints and subtle moves in there, even on the way in. Hatton KO7. Amir's bravery sees him into the second half.

also don't Forget hattons Body punching. khan is quick but if hatton would have missed his head a few times he would go for his Body until khan slows down.

Can you imagine just how horrifically Kostya Tszyu would stretch Amir Khan? Hatton has an elite win, and a very credible tussle with Floyd Mayweather. Khan has zero elite wins and displayed all sorts of flaws that Hatton would exploit.
A relatively easy KO win for the beer swilling redhead.
