A nice person and a good trainer, I have a lot of time for him.

Can't fault him for loving and supporting his fighters to be honest.

However I don't think he's that good in terms of technical boxin training.

Gives me the vibe of a more refined Norman stone training John Ruiz.

Got a mate who sparred over at his gym the other week just after Liam Smith won his title , classic Joe comment ' you've got to give it to allegedly he's still the number 1 promotor ' next week he's gushing over Eddie Hearn , everyone in the the game knows that's joe all over , still think he's one of the best trainers in the uk !

I agree with Frampton, he is arrogant and a bit unpleasant. However he has been doing a good job as a coach, many of his fighter have overachieved.

Wouldn't it be horrible to have to do that? A press conference is part of his job, imagine being afraid at work.

Either he was afraid, or just being dramatic. There's no way that anyone at the press conference needed that kind of security and if they did, it definitely wasn't him.

I just don't see what rubs people up the wrong way. He seems alright to me, not particularly unpleasant.

Success! Which usually upsets some people for some reason?

I think he's done well on the press tour so far.

He's deflected all animosity away from Quigg and has spoke pretty well in my opinion.

Frampton's head is all over the shop, showing far to much venom and emotion towards Hearn and Joe in my opinion. Shane should reign him in. He's lost his cool a few times and looked pretty tense. That's the effects of pressure.

Whilst in stark comparison Quigg has been upbeat and excited it's happening.

Crolla also improved discernibly and quickly when he went to Gallagher. I rewatched the Watson fight last night and the game plan, and gallaghers advice between rounds, were spot-on.

It's been enjoyable to watch, 3 months out its pretty meaningless but Frampton has got his fans (if they needed it)properly revved up.
Quigg looks to be enjoying it all and it was nice to see Hearn get some shit.

He wont be the first trainer who has made a name for himself on the back of his boxers.
He is now really believing the bullshit about how marvelous he is.
Harrison aint much better.
A good trainer is someone who lets the boxer achieve there potential with input from them to the best of there ability.
Not the other way round.
Jimmy Tibbs for instance , now he IS a trainer.

He comes across as very knowledgable about boxing and very passionate. Seems to be doing a good job with his fighters and they all seem to like him. He does seems to have moments of arrogance and he clearly has an ego. Doesn't seem to be very popular outside of his stable.

time to bump this thread.
After lastnight I couldn't hate the man anymore.
"You know everyone wants us to lose." Pathetic...
