With Cyclone Promotions and with Shane McGuigan as his coach. Really can't see this partnership lasting for very long.

Queue the moans. Arrogant, talks too much, fake injuries, toe excuse. All fair points but when it comes down to it, if he's guna take it seriously, I'm happy to have him back. Brilliant fighter IMO.

Agreed, would be great to see him back. However, is a lad in his 20s the best person to be coaching him?

Great to see him back
I'd say his first appearance will be the quigg Frampton under card
total guess but I think it would make sense

Why not Booth?
Did they fall out?

Booth and Haye have both refused to talk about it any more than to confirm the relationship is over. If I had to guess, I'd say Booth suggested Haye should stay retired..?

I think you're bang on the money there, booth even hinted after the wlad fight that he didn't want to be involved in Haye continuing his career because he didn't feel Haye could have a different result against wlad in a rematch.
Although they were mates and he probably doesn't want to see Haye hurt, what's the point of having people around you that don't believe in you if you plan to fight on.

Back again?
Believe it when he's in the ring

Really pleased to see Haye back, a still think he would beat any heavyweight in the world not named Klitschko.

The way i see it with David Haye is that when he fights he's relevant, when he doesnt i couldnt care less what he says,i like him and he seems like a nice guy but he's talked to much hot air for too long then there's the call offs
But actually in the ring id love to see him again,he's a talented fighter who should have twice as many fights on his ledger than he's got

Even if Haye did return, he'd probably only fight some domestic heavyweight then take another year and a half out the ring.
David Haye vs Young Fury anybody?

I seen a video on Haye's twitter which shows him working with Shane and talking about why he's hooked up with him. Have a look there.

The main thing I question here is Haye's patience. He is now 35, but will realistically need to get a minimum of two fights in before he turns 36. Hard to know who to pit him up against first. Haye has ideas of being a World Champ again, but I don't see a chance that he won't expect to fight for a belt before he is 37. That means he really can't waste his time on a domestic tune up fight, he needs to be looking at fringe World title challengers. Someone like Malik Scott would be perfect.

Fury is on next year, Tyson has said today he'd let 'bygones be bygones' for another crack on PPV next year, saying it would do 'two million buys'. He sees the £ signs for sure, that's still a massive fight financially as it's an easy sell for the casuals.

If Haye is anywhere near to what he was then I would expect him to reprieve Wilder or Povetkin of the WBC belt. He surely doesn't want to get involved in the WBA's tawdry freak circus? What is his plan, realistically? A lucrative defence versus Joshua, or whatever's left of Fury after Klitschko whacks him? Or perhaps he saw how poor Klitschko looked against Jennings and fancied another go?

If Hayes serious then he will fight Joshua and even with 4 years out I still give home a shot, he's lived fairly well in retirement. At least he always pursued and fought the best. Klitscko at heavy and mormeck at cruiser. Don't take to him as a person but as a fighter he was great.

The bloke from corner shop says there could be a press conference as early as next week to announce a couple of things.
Possibly fighting in Feb on a BIG show.
Sky want AJ v Haye for the summer ... I am not so sure as I think the Povetkin/Wilder route is more viable.

I can't see Sky wanting Haye v AJ too much, unless they really think AJ is the goods.
He can't go from fighting people who can't/won't punch back to someone who will throw bombs, surely?

Sky will only be concerned currently with ££££, their deal goes until 2019 or whenever so a massive PPV event for Haye v AJ next year could do massive, massive number and trigger an interest in the sport for the next few years. They will be all over Hearn for Haye v AJ, it's big business.
