How can Scotland not act the way area titles are and have two oppononts fight each other for title. For our own personnel intrest at super feather we have

Michael Roberts
Steven Tiffany
Darren trainer
Ryan Collins
John Simpson
Sean Watson
David savage

This title should be one that every up and coming and seasoned pro should be aiming for. We seen a great fight in mike towell and Rhys pagan, then mcrory v Barclay, just not enough fighters want to fight each other at this level, not everyone will make British level and to compete for this title would be a step in right direction for a British title or commonwealth. My own personnel intrest I would like to see ronnie fight for this title against any of the above. Having came up a little short in his chances a good 50-50 fight for the Scottish is exactly what's needed.

Am I correct in saying you don't even get a belt for winning the Scottish area title? Maybe that has something to do with it? I know that certainly used to be the case. It might sound trivial but a lot of fighters would want the belt for keepsake. Good idea though. Would maybe push some guys on to the next level and would be better for them rather than just fighting guys who are there to lose.

Can only happen if promotors want to put the fights on mate

Yeah as far as I know there is a belt, was when trainer fought savage, I think it would make a difference when stepping up having that calibre of fight on your record. We need to start making fights happen, it's like welters, have a good few and they just ain't fighting each other. For me I would like to see ronnie Clark v Ryan Collins, both have a few losses and would like the opportunity to fight for the title.

Yes Scottish area should get the area titles going but that's down to the promotors not the board mate

Yeah we really need the promotors to make the fight, will be worth it in the long run, just to many shows are mismatches and not value for money so can't attract the regulars

There is a Scottish Area belt but you are totally wrong mate, Darren fought David Savage in a British Title Eliminator at Featherweight and the Scottish Title was never on the line.

I really wouldn't like to see Darren vs Ronnie anyway considering I am currently coaching them both! But I would be happy for Darren or Ronnie to box any other Feather/Super Feather in Scotland for the Scottish belt.

David Savage has retired after the Darren fight according to his dad.

Would be great if all the promoters/managers would work together to get the Scottish lads fighting each other rather than just feeding them the usual boxers but it needs work and personal issues between managers/promoters shouldn't be allowed to get in the way tbh.

I agree with this also helps build the fighter in Scotland and gives them the chance to prove them self. The best 2 Super Feathers in Scotland are John Simpson and Ronnie. That would be the best fight. Sure both lads would jump at the chance. I can't see any of the other fights happening. For obvious reason Darren Traynor would not happen. The rest are a level underneath with the exception of maybe Michael Roberts jnr but no way he's fighting Ronnie. I would like to see Ronnie in next with Andy Townend, Maxi Hughes or Joe Murray.
