Wasn't at the fight but heard that Meli was robbed, referee was terrible and scoring was miles out.

Really? The Irish Boxing report said it was a close one.

I was there and for me, a Cummings fan, Meli won by at least 2 rounds. Meli was down in the first round but got up and swept the next rounds up to Round 8 when Cummings strength started to tell and Meli tired. Conrad showed no head movement, marched forward in straight lines taking loads of flush shots. Indeed Conrad showed much better boxing skills against Meli when I watched them contend the Ulster Elite Amateur title a few years ago. Cummings is lucky Meli is not a hard puncher. Cummings was continually throwing a handful of shots then was trying to initiate clinches whereby Meli was hitting him time and time again. as he used good footwork to move away.
Conrad was warned numerous times for low blows and both fighters were warned for holding but when the time came for point deductions both had 1 point taken off for holding. After which there was a least 2 low blows from Cummings that should have resulted in another point deduction.
It was a good entertaining fight though but when the scores were being read out and I heard Ian John Lewis's name I thought "here we go". His card of 95-92 to Cummings was well off the mark.
Meli deserved the win.

I didn't watch the fight, I was away with the missus outside of Belfast, but already there's talk of a rematch.
