I heard someone say that they haven't seen a fighter so favoured by judges since Muhammad Ali in the mid-to-late 70s. How did you score the following fights?

Canelo vs Trout
Official scorecards: 115-112, 118-109, 116-111 UD to Canelo

Canelo vs Mayweather
Official scorecards: 116-112, 117-111 and 114-114 MD to Mayweather

Canelo vs Lara
Official scorecards: 115-113, 117-111 and 113-115 SD to Canelo

Canelo vs Cotto
Official scorecards: 117-111, 119-109 and 118-110 UD to Canelo

Of course, not all of these fights have controversial winners, but they certainly had some scorecards which were very generous to Canelo.

I scored:

Canelo vs Lara 115-113 (Canelo)

Canelo vs Trout 115-112 (Canelo)

The only real controversial one was the Lara fight cuz at the end of the day the right guy won the rest of the fights.

I really dont understand Canelo hate here on boxrec forum.
Everyone say how he would be beaten by GGG - Canelo fought better oposition than Golovkin and he is going to beat GGG in 2016 or 2017 - mark my words

No doubt he loss to Mayweather, he was young, inexperienced and weight drained (dont forget about 165 lbs rehydratation limit, not only 152 lbs catchweight), but at the end of night he totally loss to Floyd.

Everyone say how Lara was robbed in their fight - me and many boxing fans can appreciate technical boxing, i liked Mayweather boxing, i even like some of Rigondeaux fights. But Lara fought like a b!tch that night, man you cannot win boxing fight in Las Vegas by circling around the ring, sidesteps and occasionaly punches with no effect. Professional boxing is not only sport, but also business and fun. Lara fought like b!tch in fight and he acting like a b!tch after a fight. Why the hell he didnt accept fight with Demetrius Andrade? F!ck Lara

And, there was nothing controversial in Cotto fight. Canelo landed more punches, landed more effective punches. Alvarez won 8 of 12 rounds. And that was nice, technical fight

To be fair they should have had a judge also from Cuba also for the Canelo/Lara fight, Martinez was from Mexico, and scored by far the widest margin for Canelo.

Granted Lara was on his bike, but landed more punches, and more effective punches. Most of Canelo's punches that seemed to score were blocked. Lara made Canelo look bad, and the crowd (and one judge) hated him for not standing toe to toe.

Canelo knows he lost that fight against Lara. look at him. He knows it. I had that one 115-113 Lara.

I scored by the Lara and Trout fights for Canelo. Did not see the Mayweather fight. When I saw the replay Mayweather was 2 to 1 in rounds, 8-4 or 9-3.

Didn't see the Cotto fight yet.

You have to be stretching to find 3 let alone 4 rounds for Canelo in the FMJ fight.

Canelo did nothing in that fight

Canelo lost against Mayweather. No question about it.

I thought Canelo won clearly over Trout, can't remember my score card but Trout was patting that jab out there, hitting fresh air, and got dropped. I had a pretty wide card for carrot top.

I thought Canelo suffered from the excess catchweight draining vs Floyd and subsequently looked awful following him, flat footed around the ring, never gave him a round.

I haven't seen the Lara fight.

For Cotto I had 114-114. I thought he was outboxed for much of the fight until his size began to tell.

I thought Trout beat him but had no problem with anyone who had it close the other way.
Same with Cotto, who I thought outboxed him but did get hammered by Canelo at times.
I thought Floyd won in a runaway.
And I thought the fight with Lara showed us just how good Floyd is, as Canelo won a clear decision
in a fight not nearly as close as some try to say.
