Surely the best way to deal with such tactics is to do what they did, and walks way with the belts. That's the best way to answer such tactics, not basically copying them!

True, but it will be nice if they don't get everything their own way in the build up. There was def an arrogance from them when confronted. Like 'how dare you question us'. Maybe a time for a taste of their own medicine.

Good point. A lot of it has been glossed over for years and the so called 'gentleman' angle makes my blood boil.

Not sure if anyone read fwank's newspaper column yesterday. He was trying to make a point about wlad without getting himself sued. To me the inference was clear, particularly in light of recent developments in the world of athletics.

He was implying wlad has had a few nights out with kid galahads brother?

i hope i never see wlad again,for me anyway,he took away my interest in the heavyweight title for a decade.

To their immense credit...the Fury camp were super alert and unwavering from the moment they got off the plane.

There was some impressive attention to detail there and they took the gamesmanship head-on; spongy ring, glove design and Wlad deciding he'd have his hands wrapped without anyone from the other camp witnessing it. All spotted and effectively challenged.

All the little advantages and edges that the K brothers have been slipping under the radar with less attentive/confident camps were take on this time and perhaps it dawned on them that the Fury's meant business on every single front.

I am fairly certain that if the rematch is in Germany the Fury's will have to be on the lookout all over again and examine every detail.

Klitschko has an abnormal physique. I'm not surprised people are asking questions.

As for their dirty tricks, who can forget Klitschko/Povetkin? 200+ holds to prevent a fight breaking out, and a referee looking the other. I simply couldn't believe what I was watching. It was televised villainy. Something out of professional wrestling. And Vitali always looming there, big brother coming to beat you up if you don't like it. A pair of pure bullies, neither of whom has coped well when someone stood up to them.

Sportsman tries mind-games to throw opponent off his game.... cry me a river.

He always played tricks.

Remember haye's ringwalk? Got mobbed, literally having to fight his way through at times. Funnily enough then wlad seemed to locate a different route with ease.

Not saying that made any massive difference but wouldnt have helped haye any.

Loads of examples like that. They are very well polished but gentlemanly I would say not.

I would actually love fury to insist a rematch is in UK but I am sure the contract mandates Germany again

None of it was nothing new except that the Fury camp came to fight from the start not to roll over and let him have his own way. I think even those who have tried to stand up to it have been worn down in the past by the messing.

Perhaps the rest have not had a team behind them that cared so much for their fighter?

Look at when they were looking at the ring padding. Not just Fury but he's uncle, his dad, his brother, his cousin etc

Vitali's reaction to the Fury's ring complaints said a lot. So angry and defensive. It just seems so weird that they would do stuff like that. The ring, the hand wraps, the platform trainers... What a load of bollocks! Can you think of any other boxers that pull crap like that? I'm sure there are plenty but I haven't seen anything as weird as this in this era. I know about challengers being put up in rubbish hotel rooms etc, but all the worst stuff recently, apart from Margarito obviously, it seems to be the K brothers.

I know Haye gets a lot of stick for his toe but didn't he get refused a pain killing injection? Or they gave him one that didn't work or something? Honestly isn't it enough to just be a better boxer? I am being naive here?

X2. Failing a drugs test would change the loss to a no-contest and the belts would return to wlad, Tyson might not have a degree or anything like that but he is clearly a smart man.

Absolutely, he's a very switched-on bloke. As is his uncle Peter and Team Fury as a whole, they know what they're doing.

They didn't take any sh*t from Bonte/Klitschko with the gloves, canvas etc.

He's got a good team around him and they all know the score.
