First thing I said to the missus was that Sky will be trying to suck his balls now and I hope he tells the pricks to go feck themselves. They are ruining boxing with the pathetic cosy little love in with Eddie Hearn and I literally cannot tolerate their smarmy little faces. I am glad someone on the outside has put themselves in such an exalted position.

Like it or not, Tyson Fury is the main man in world boxing at the moment, the lineal and undisputed Heavyweight champion of the world. He holds the cards. Make some demands and make sure Hearn is nowhere near any promotions, they do not need him

I suspect SKy will unfortunately be the only company with A big enough wallet to afford Fury fights. Due to their PPV arm of course....

Mind you I watched it on a perfect stream last night (with Polish commentary) and will do so again instead of getting my ars3 raped and pocket picked by sKY

My mate done the same thing on some android box he got. Works a treat apparently. Might need to invest in one after Xmas as I'm also sick of getting my pants pulled down with the fees they charge!

The post fight coverage was effing appalling. One of the biggest nights in British boxing history and they talked over an interview with the winner just because someone else was interviewing. Lewis was about to talk to him which I would have been interested to listen in to and they cut to adverts. I know they were about to do their own interview but we were on an emotional high and wanting to soak it in and see if he spoke with Wlad, did hands get shaken, what were people doing, how were they celebrating, we wanted to get a taste of it and they cut away for a few minutes

Agreed - it was a shame as genuinely great moment when Tyson Fury shook Lennox's hand and called him a great champ. Thankfully they did leave it unedited on the replays - it's still doing loop on 492 so you can see it all. The post fight interviews should never be "adverted" over. At the time I thought Froch (or his producer) took it on themselves to talk over Tyson Fury as he started doing his religious thing. To be honest it's post water-shed and (not wanting to go too off piste on a boxing forum) he was entitled to say his piece even if it was religious. That was how it struck me anyway - like it was censoring Tyson Fury. Equally, and perhaps duly it was because RTL were doing the interviews (as pointed out).
Look - we pay our £16 or whatever PPV fee is, though undercard was lame, the main event was well worth the fee, but at least give us the show! At the cinema the adverts are at the start, not during all the key bits!

Oh and I love how Sky cocked up the scorecards, had it too close and were reading it wrong then read social media and reversed themselves and began giving credit and saying he deserved it etc. Lots of backtracking and arse kissing went on in the last four rounds due to knowing they had it totally wrong

I bought the fight, but the commentary was doing my head in, so I listened to 5 live for a few rounds. In the end, I watched the last six rounds on HBO and the as ever, the commentary was spot on. Roy Jones had Fury miles ahead and by 5 rounds at the end.

Just watched the replay, wow the best parts of the whole night were the bits when we were at adverts in the UK. Tears, emotion for his deceased uncle, respect to Lennox which was due, explanations and respect also to Wlad that it was all just build up.

Sky are a bunch of shithouses for missing that. Anyone who only watched the live broadcast will never know about these great moments.

I have to admit that I use streams these days and things like this are the reason why. Cutting to advertisements ASAP when you have paid PPV money to watch the fight has not just turned me off but several of my mates as well. You can't afford to piss people off these days when streams are becoming more and more popular. They used to cut to adds between rounds on PPVs. I think that was the last straw for me

Bang on I watched the HBO broadcast. No adverts, no Halling, no Adam smith, no Eddie all the singing respect to Lennox emotion for his Uncle hughie brilliant coverage.

I reckon he will create his own tv channel to showcase his fights and call it 'Furious One'. He'll become a billionaire and bring back Topless Darts on Ice just before the news at 10..

Absolutely spot on. Seeing all his family around him, despite what anyone might think of them etc, the tribute to his uncle who got him started, the respect paid to Lewis then Wlad etc, the singing of course, golden moments imo. Great to see and made the victory all that much sweeter.

Fury's behaviour changed as well, before the fight Fury was like, oh you're an old men and I'll take the bad side over me, show off, talks blabla and right after the fight, respect to Klitschko, baby news, stuff like that.

Strangely enough I still think Anthony Joshua is a better boxer as Tyson Fury.

Did any of you watch the IFL #oraloranal interview with Fury before the the fight?

Fury was talking about promoters and why he signed to mick etc but he starts ripping it out of fast Eddie saying he's shitting his pants that if fury wins he's got no options on him. He said Eddie is always turning up to get his face seen when the events have nothing to do with him and he also put a purse bid in to steal the fight from mick but mick got the fight contracts sorted just in time to stop it going to purses.

Interestingly he said he got signed by mock after showing up after a stag do and having a 50/50 sparring session with another HW then turning up the next day and pasting the same HW so much he took his head gear off, refused to fight and then disappeared.

Mike Perez was the HW.

Normally I would say f__ off to people that would jump on the band wagon. But now I'd use them like they were using me if I was in his shoes. if it made sense money wise. As long as he was getting something out of it. I can never understand why fighters are stupid enough to have all the hangers on. Mike Tyson used to have a huge enterouge on the payroll. If I was him I would wouldn't pay anyone; they'd be wellcome to hang around if they wanted to be seen with me the champ, but they would not get a penny of me. I'd only employ family or real freinds that I grew up with. Sky (Eddie Hearn) showing an interest in Fury is the same as a hanger on now. Fury should stick with Mick 100%.

Yeah that was blatant - Usually Froch is on the ball, but even he was selling himself out.

Fury could bring a lot of attention back to the sport if he plays it right, first job is to give up his ranting's about his personal beliefs and the Jesus stuff, all the other shenanigans is just madcap fun and could appeal to the YouTube generation, lets face it fury has got the best record in todays heavyweight scene based on the name klitchko appearing in his win column and hopefully a channel outside of sky will dig deep for him, Tyson seems the type who would accept a lower purse to box on terrestrial TV to the masses rather than pander to sky.

I've just watched the replay I can't believe they put the adverts over it in the live version, I though wlad had just buggered off when I watched it live.
