I don't think he would,he just suddenly looked old and clueless last night,he didn't land one single decent punch.

He barely listened to Steward and used to answer him back in the corner remember. Stewart had to have a go at him several times, probably most notably in the chambers fight where Wlad was fighting poorly but winning. Wlad was answering him back several times "im trying emmanuel!!" "ok emmanuel!".

I'd saw Steward would have been really on his case wanting him to let his hands go. Wlad is still Wlad though, he doesn't have the heart for a dogfight or to take chances and exchange punches. It would have been Fury UD. Vitali was a different story though, he would have went for it.

You knew Wladimir was in trouble when the usually silent Vitali started chipping in.

Manny Steward couldn't have helped Wladimir anymore than he could help him when Lamon Brewster was forcing him to fight. Wlad was terrified of being KOd again. Manny couldn't make him throw more against Ibragimov, whom he was terrified of being countered by.

Perhaps he shouldn't time travel while he's fighting?

Did you correct a typo in his already misspelled post just to make your joke work?

He was shitting himself.
Steward couldn't have helped him with that.

I caught the mics/cameras in the corner, Banks telling Wlad to follow up jabs with body shots. When Wlad came out for the next round, i don't recall him throwing a single body shot.

Ultimately his problem was that he didn't have a stationary target he could hit at will & was in with someone with a longer reach, which made him too terrified to throw.

Yeah Banks told him repeatedly to throw right hands to the body; would have been interesting to see how that tactic would have affected Fury's movement late on, but Wlad seemed too scared to even attempt it.
