Where to now for Trent Broadhurst? should he go overseas, should he stay here in Aus and fight overseas fighters? My thoughts are there is on one in Aus in his class so he has to look further afield , your thoughts please.

Like Rocky Jerkic and some others Trent needs to fight the very best domestic competition available instead of getting import's that just come to roll over THE TIME IS NOW OR NEVER because at the end of the day if you are not willing to fight the best or atleast some of the best in your own back yard whats the use of dreaming about Las Vegas and the MGM Grand :bag:

Who do you think he should fight here in Aus?

There's not a lot locally to choose from for Broadhurst.

Steve Lovett would be a good matchup. But he's campaigning in the US.

What about a rematch against Berridge ?
Trent was ahead till the wheels came off in the 5th round in their earlier outing.
A solid win would open a few doors.
Must say that "The Butcher" has the far superior CV.
Anyone think Broadhurst could win this ?

A rematch with Berridge makes sense, But I would rather see him fight Kerry Foley.

Not alot of options around locally for Trent. Possible rematch with Berridge would be good, and the Foley fight another decent option.

Potential to push for a Bika fight in Aussie also?

Murdoch, Dunn, Caparello? All are at Super would they step up not sure they need to.

A rematch with Berridge would be a good fight for Broadhurst. If he signed, I'd be confident he has worked on his flaw from that fight. Great boxer, with one of the best jabs in Australian boxing, if not the best. His chin is a worry though...

Isn't Berridge on the outer after losing in America and being cut by DUCO for getting drunk and making a goose of himself? Would love to see a rematch.

Broadhurst is very tidy with a good jab, as he showed again the other night against Powdrill. But anyone possessing real KO power like Berridge is always going to pose a serious threat to him.

Broadhurst has called out Berrage a few time with on reply as for Foley he has pulled out before so why even try cant blame him Foley is quite a short light heavy and he wouldn't get past Broadhursts jab.Just read something that Broadhurst has called out Danny Green cant see that happening though.

The Foley fight seems to keep falling over.

Can't see Bika, Murdoch, Dunn or Caparello fights happening for Trent.

Are you saying they refuse to fight him ,,, Bika would stop hm Caperello would beat him easy other 2 i'm not sure ,, but when these guys are around the same weight they should be fighting each other , with perhaps a pass to Bika who has proven himself at a higher level and may be getting a bit too old now .

Trent beats Caparello in my opinion. Caparello is awkward but Trent is a better fighter. Caparello campaigning at super middle so won't happen anyway.

Caparello is as awkward as Broadhurst is orthodox and it would make for an interesting contrast of styles. But I still think Caparello would get the chocolates.

They are going different directions anyway with one at Supermiddle and one at light heavyweight.
