Will Tyson defends his titles against Hughie Fury?

It would be apt, as they are both fighting men. :salut:

Out of question. I dont think such a thing ever happened, brothers or cousins fighting in a pro ring. Noone would consider such madness. Klitschkos have not even sparred each other since they were 20 or so. Furys have said several times that if Tyson gets all the belts then he will free one of them so that Hughie can fight for it.

Why did they never have a Light Minimumweight division?

Light Minimumweight would be "Atomweight", a division that was recently unified by Momo Koseki and has a limit of 102lbs....it is however only recognised for female fighters...

Wouldn't it be cool if you were the super atomweight champion,or the super, super atomweigh.

22nd December 2006: Harry Duiven Jr. WTKO2 Harry Duiven Sr.
I believe the Klitschko brothers promised their mother that they would never fight each other.

They'd surely have to call it the 'Mega' champ, much cooler.

I temember from the Klitchko movie there was some kind of promise to their parents but i don't think there's any need for that... they seem very tight nit family who have apparently only ever had 1 argument which involved Vitali interfering in Wlad's camp after the Brewster loss.

Plus i think Wlad knows big brother would hand him his ass.

Did they not spar together, kickboxing? One broke the other's leg, hence the promise never to fight each other blah blah.

There was a report on it in BN with a photo showing Snr boasting a massive gut. If memory serves he stepped in as a last minute sub, claimed it was an early stoppage saying he hadn't warmed into the fight...or some such crap.

Would have been a sad day had they fought, 2 brothers fighting over money.

There are enough fighting members of the Fury family that we could have a Prizefighter tournament with just them in it.

Couple ex pros (father and son) fell out in North Wales and we're going to fight on BBU card.

The poster read

He may be my son, but it's gonna be fun

<PIC OF TWO OF THEM>

It might be my dad, but it's gonna be bad

Used to train 3 brothers , the eldest would spar both the others , the other 2 would spar ok but sometimes get a bit wild . At a charity event i let the 2 youngest do an exhibition , 3 rounds all went well till the end of the 3rd round , one hit the other at the final bell , he turned to walk away and the youngest run up and kicked him up the arse , ,, she was on then crowd loved it me and the eldest dragging them apart , I should of known :DDD

The thought of fighting one of my 4 brothers (beyond childhood squabbles) fills me with disgust. Granted it was all amateur boxing for me but the sentiment is the same. What puzzles me is why people act all surprised they never fought - it's not hard to understand why.

I'm sure some out there would happily fight their sibling but in this case, I completely back brothers who have no desire to fight each other.

I should've also said...

If my brothers and I had fought, I'm sure my Dad, even in his 60's now, would give the lot of us good kicking for stepping so far out of line.

That probably happens every day of the week, after a funeral.

Jerry Quarry would utterly unload on his light heavy brother Mike. He didn't play with anyone!
