I might not bother paying for the rematch.

It will draw interest as did the first fight but after the 2nd fight we will all be the same "why did i pay for that load of arsebollox?" Sadly, the major TV networks lost faith in boxing as a product a long time ago. Audley almost single handedly applied the coup-de-grace.

Germany does show though that the idea that boxing no longer works on terrestrial and/or free to air channels, is utter arsebollocks.

Can't be that great in Germany. Not sure how much of that money sees its way back into boxing. Their scene isn't a patch on ours.

Sorry, but that is utter arsebollocks - their boxing scene is absolutely thriving. You only have to look at how slick the presentation is, and the attendance of their major events, to see how much money is flowing into the sport. We may have more active fighters (i'm guessing here, maybe not), but they are putting on lots of very well drilled shows in a regular basis.

Germany has become a hub for boxers from all mainland Europe.

I'm just on a bit of a roll - I'm enjoying every opportunity I get to use it right now - I'd forgotten about it, and I'm really enjoying it's return to my mind - it's a bit like an old friend you haven't seen for years, you want to hang out with them a lot for a while, then gradually, they start to bore you, and you stop calling so often, and before you know it, you don't even remember them any more, and with a little luck, you lose touch, and you move on to new, sparkly, more interesting friends.,

Alternatively, it's a bit like a toblerone.

On another note, I wish more than anything Rod Stewart hadn't been there - he sounded like a cat being neutered whilst simultaneously having it's tail fed through a mangle being cranked by a fidgety crack-head.

Depends which TV network has the most money to offer. In Germany I think it's ARD and ZDF that carry boxing, here the people with the money are sky - I'd imagine the fight was free to air in Germany.

Time zone isn't the issue, the promoters will go wherever has the best deal - if Wlad's promotional outfit K2 promotions (it is still them who do their own I believe) thought they could get a better deal by going with sky, then it's possible. The main issue though is I think that Wlad probably has a great deal with the German TV people, and already gets a slice of the Sky PPV anyway, so not sure what difference it would make. In this instance, it's hard to see how Wlad would be best served in staging a rematch outside Germany really, unless they thought they could do a Froch, and fight in front of 80,000 in Wembley, but this time without knocking George Groves out.

I actually had a lot of admiration and respect for Wlad before this fight, but since the wraps, the mushy canvas and the deliberate headbutt - he's come across as a bit of a prissy twat.

Would be interesting to see if Tyson would b financially better off permanently fighting in Germany. The general public and media probably give him more respect than they do here

There was something not quite right with Wlad through the whole build up. His entrance is usually a small documentary but this time there was nothing. He almost ran to the ring. It has to do with his wife and new born baby.

I like bollocks as much as the next man, my own of course, but these arse-bollocks comments might make me bi-curious.

I expect Klitschko to want to come out aggressive early on and try to spark Fury out.... but I think that will be the wrong strategy to try and employ... Klitschko's strong suit has never been being aggressive... He has alot of power and precision, yes, but it won't work against a man like Fury who has shown (clearly) that he is faster, and more adjusted to Klitschko's abilities than Klitschko is of Fury's size and awkwardness.
