Wlad vs Fury = Valuev vs Haye

I had 4 rds to Wlad (1,4,9 and 12), 5 rds to Fury (2,3,5,7,8) and 2 rds too close to call ( 6 and 10).
The 11 was of course 9-9.
Give both close rds to Wlad ( and he should as a champ get them) and he wins it.
This unanimous decision reeks corruption the same way Haye "won" the title vs Valuev years ago by simply running away the whole night then being rewarded in the champion hometown by an incredible gift decision.
Always happens to be an englishman with of course a lot of home support.
Surely, a coincidence...

If someone held a gun to my head and told me I had to find 4 rounds that Wlad won I couldn't.
Furry beat him no question at all

Sure.
The same way Haye won 8 rds vs Valuev, in Valuev's hometown.
"Without question".
Tell me again who won the 5 th rd in Pac vs Bradley 1 ?

Crow, I find your scoring very unusual. I've seen the fight twice, the first time I scored it 115-112 to Fury, upon a second viewing I had it 117-111 to Fury.
Round 1 is a swing round, but I think Fury edged it
Round 2 is a clear round to Fury
Round 3 I intially scored to Klitschko, but upon rewatching I scored it even
Round 4 through 7 I saw as clear rounds to Fury both times I saw them
Round 8 I scored to Klitschko both times, I think it's arguably his best round of the fight
Round 9 is a swing round, I gave it to Klitschko on the first viewing and to Fury on the second, could be an even round
Round 10 is a clear round to Fury
Round 11 is a clear 9-9, Tyson won it but was deducted a point
Round 12 is a close but clear round to Wlad - Fury won the first half, Wlad the second, but he landed the better punches
I actually think this is one of the better scored fights I've seen lately. Both fighters had crap compubox numbers, with Fury landing 86 punches to Wlad's 52, but despite the gap in punching power, looking at their faces at the end, it was obvious that Fury had had the better of it.

There is no rule to give close rds to the champion. The champion is already protected enough since he keeps his title in case of a draw.

Nobody has complained about the decision,Wlad and his team knew he's lost, the whole world knew he'd lost and nobody gets a gift decision in the other fighters backyard,it's well known in boxing that to win a decision in the other fighters home town you have to do so much more than usual to make it definate and that's exactly what Fury did.

There is a rule stating a challenger must take clearly the title from the champion, though.
Fury did next to nothing, and only barely outthrew the champ in 5 rds or more, even though he's 13 years younger.
That was a lousy way to win the HW championship. He showed no passion or will to win, and instead relied on the judges to give him the win against an aging champ.
Wlad wan't much better, but at least he pressed forward, even though nearing 40.

That's one of the saddest, and ultimately wrong, accounts of that fight I've seen yet. It was a horrible fight, that summary of it was the same. Vlad maybe won 2-3 rounds maximum. Probably THE weakest exhibition by a Heavyweight Champion I've seen yet.
C.J. Ross couldn't find a way to give him 6 rounds, that's how silly he looked.

This whole post is full of contradictions, you say he barely threw more punches than Wlad in 5 rounds or more, well he did throw more and that's why the judges made him the winner, you also said that Wlad wasn't much better yet expect him to have picked up the close rounds because he was the champ, also you say fury showed little passion because he chose not to trade with a known big puncher, instead opting to execute a game plan to outbox him, which he did with supreme confidence and very effectively.

Yes, he looked silly.
But the few rds he won, he did it more convincingly than Tyson, who was just pitty patting then running away.
Both should have been DQ for negativity and the paying public should have been refunded.
Back in the fifties, refs used to warn fighters for inactivity. And there's at least one fight in the late seventies i saw were a british ref simply dq'd both fighters after 4 rds for inactivity and sent them home.

Your'e showing yourself to have drank the coolaid when using words as "confidence" and "effective" in describing Tyson's performance. He was dreadfull and negative just as Wlad.
The whole boxing community wants Wlad out of the sport, so no surprise about the various broadcasts having him the loser.
As i've said, the fight was dreadfull, from both fighters, neither deserved to win, and since Tyson did it unanimously, it shows me some pre-arranged home cooking, the same way it clearly was for Valuev - Haye.

I'm sure it was the 3 judges who had him losing and are you trying to say tv companies had something to do with the decision ? laughable troll

I scored the fight 8-4 for Fury. Anything closer than 7-5 or wider than 9-3 is very, very wrong scoring for this fight.

Dude as you call me,even Wlad hasn't complained,he said he couldn'tn get his shots off like he usually would because of tyson's movement,he never ever once complained that he had been ripped off by the judges SO WHAT IS YOUR POINT ?

Wlad was smilling during the post match presser, as if all was a big joke.
He didn't complain because he knows he has a return match with Fury.
Why come across as a sore loser when you have a chance to get back everything you lost ?

oh right i get it now,so your saying Wlad lost on purpose to land a lucrative rematch,i bet Wlad had a rematch clause in all of his fights, but he waited to be outboxed by a younger, faster fury, honestly i've read some funny post on here over the years but yours has just won first prize for being the most stupid, first you say wlad deserved to win because he was the champ, then you said he wasn't any better than fury, who was lacking in ambition, then you say the tv companies ripped him off.The fury's annoyed team klit all the way through the build up and on the days before the fight and wlads answer was to put in the worst performance of his ten year reign as champ, knowing he can turn it around in fury's back yard when he's going to be a year older and maybe suffering ring rust, honestly mate, how does he know he'll get a rematch anyway, contracts can be broken, anything could happen, but no you think he wasn't bothered

It has taken a couple days to fully digest what happened Saturday in Dusseldorf, Germany, and even now it’s hard to fathom what we all witnessed on HBO.
If Wladimir Klitschko’s nine-year heavyweight reign is history following his stunning, unanimous decision loss to the United Kingdom’s Tyson Fury, it’s hard to imagine a sadder way for the longtime champion from Ukraine to go out.
Fifty-two. That’s 52 punches landed over 12 rounds. A little more than four per round. That includes everything — jabs, body shots, head shots. There were many more clinches and holds by Dr. Steelhammer than punches landed.
Fury is the new champ, but frankly, he wasn’t much better. He landed 86 punches, or about seven per round.
http://boxingjunkie.com/2015/11/30/is-w ... is-future/
This small article extract says everything i wrote : Fury won his titles by landing
7 punches per rd.
Against Wlad's four.
Both were paid millions (in Wlad's case tens of millions), and they come up with these stats.
This fight should have been called a draw.
You don't win the belt in the champion's hometown by landing 7 punches per rd.

It has to be an unwritten rule, then
![[icon_wink.gif] ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)
And, as I said, this is already covered by the fact that the champions needs only a draw to retain his title... so the challenger wins only if the judges consider him to perform clearly better than the champion.
As to the Fury-Klitschko, there may be a couple of rounds where it is difficult to say about any clear dominance... which is not surprising with Fury landing on average 7 punches per round and Wlad roughly 4. Something like Wlad-McCline, but this time with Wlad on the wrong end and without a finishing KO. Anyway, Fury was still slightly better than (or rather not as bad) Wlad - not only landing more, but he was the only one who had a working (though unexciting) gameplan.
