Frank Bruno has said he wants to come out of retirement to fight Fury.

Exactly. I think Frank is missing his past and finds it hard to move on. Lovely bloke but needs to get his mental health sorted.

Its a shame bruno didnt get into training. Even now he could open a gym and fill it with young lads wanting to learn how to box. Its just a shame he was portrayed as the jolly simple fellow with the daft tv adverts and pantos.

I listened to it at work, Tyson dug his heels in refused to alter his views on homosexuality/ women/ Jessica Ennis, he actually didn't come off too badly and managed to stand his ground in an intelligent manner and had a fairly reasonable an answer to everything thrown at him.

He previously said she "slaps up" well (looks good with makeup) and looks good in a dress, couldn't see the harm in that myself.

The media witchhunt on Fury is a disgrace.

Him beating Wlad is equivalent to when Murray won Wimbledon.

He should walk SPOTY but got a feeling he will get robbed due to all this bad publicity.

Unfortunately racism towards the travelling community still seems acceptable in today's society.

You cant deny that Fury has personality. But can you imagine the BBC giving him an award? It will open the floodgates. There are proberly more deserving sports personalities that have done well this year. Yes Fury won a world title but it wasnt a battle royal that justifies an award imo

Did a show jumper or something daft like that not win this same award before? On the grand scheme of things it means absolutely nothing at the end of the day.

He hasn't won a fight in 20 years but the time off did him some good

Why should he get a pass for saying the things he said? No one else would, trying to make it about him being from the travelling community is absurd.

Also, the bbc sports personality of the year is about achievement not actual personality ffs.
