Sounds like it was a decent fight. Did I miss much? Sounds like Joshua was in trouble.

A few people on Twitter even said it was PPV worthy now they've seen the fight. Surely we wouldn't go that far. 8)

Didn't pay, did watch. It was a fun fight for a few rounds, it highlighted joshuas limitations.

Have a few thoughts on the night

Campbell is too pitter patter for the very top, mendy walked through his power all night.

Bellew found his true level last night, euro level is his peak

Mitchell should chuck it he's done

Eubank jr has overated power and poor footwork. Spike giving up might ensure he wont get a big fight ever again

Great fight! Great KO! Ring brawl! Foster gets kicked in the mouth! In other words lots of fun!

They got mesmerised by the mantra that the sky folk kept repeating .... That the show was 'great value for money' and 'the real winners were the fans'.... I must've hear each of these uttered at least 4 times. If you repeat something again and again people believe it.

As to casuals, I saw one Twitter pundit tweet that it was an 'amazing fight' and it showed that Joshua would beat both Fury and Klitschko now....

As a bill it was decent.... But as a PPV, a robbery.

sounds like a few are sheepishly climbing down off the Joshua bandwagon, surprised about Campbell but surely he can come again and Mitchell needs to find another job while he can still tie his own shoe laces.

i would have probably bought it if it wasnt in the same month as fury v wlad and next week we've got lee v saunders to look forward to anyway.

Hey he won, against somebody who came to win.

I'd prefer that, to looking excellent against journeymen who have no chance.

I paid and watched, I'm going to get rid of the sky sports package and buy the PPV shows, it'll save a bit over the year.

I enjoyed the show and over 6 hours of Boxing, Campbell loosing was a surprise, Spike took a lot of flush punches and Eubank Jnr looked good but he's not world class yet, Mitchell has lost his mojo and if he's to carry on needs to drop to European level, Joshua looked knackered in the 2nd and 3rd rounds and I thought he was going to get chinned - it was an exciting bout. The crowds that Joshua is pulling in are very impressive, I think he's taking something he shouldn't and he hasn't fallen at the first real hurdle. I wonder who'll be next? Hope Whyte boxes on these big shows, he showed a lot of guts and came to win.

Pretty much what I was thinking last night, also that Junior doesn't have Chris senior's chin and isn't as good in any department. Think Spike will get more paydays as he's a bit of a character, tough and has some power. He is woefully limited though

On paper, nope it shouldn't have been PPV, but as it turned out I doubt anyone that bought it would have regretted paying the 16 quid.

I paid, I watched, I enjoyed.

My biggest moan, as I've mentioned elsewhere, is that I don't expect constant adverts on a PPV. (We almost missed the drama of Spike pulling out). You don't get them if you buy a WWE PPV.

I'm a sucker, I buy them all. More fool me, I guess.
Maybe it's folk like me that are helping to create this PPV monster?!

I watched the fights back online and enjoyed each one.
But that doesn't merit PPV and as long as people continue to defend this idea and buy them, we'll keep getting sold them.
And fights that should be on the already expensive subscription channel will not be

Just because you enjoyed the action doesn't make it ppv.
It's about levels as they say. None of these fights were high profile enough to merit PPV charge on top of your sky subscription.

If competitive enjoyable scraps should all be PPV then by that rationale, ordinary Sky sports bouts should, you would expect, be mismatches, uncompetitive and drab. Is that what we're telling Camp Eddie these day, we'll pay £16 extra as long as you make the show entertaining? It'll all be worthwhile?

As I said to someone the other day on here, there are small hall shows the length and bredth of the country that will have 50/50 bouts, good scraps and be thoroughly entertaining. Are we going to ask Camp Eddie to put these on Box office as well?

I thought that 2nd round was gonna be david price all over again,i bet eddie hearn shat his pants in that round. Before this fight i thought AJ would beat anyone in the heavyweights but if he fought deontay now he would get k.oed within 3 rounds

Huh

Didn't pay, watched a stream of Eubank and then Joshua. Thoughts were that Eubank looked pretty good, but probably doesn't have the power when he moves to world level, that said Jacobs is not rock chinned. Joshua got what he needed, a test and some rounds, he passed the test pretty impressively.

I'll be interested to see if they try and sell Joshua v Chisora as a ppv, not sure what they could come out with as a selling point as Chisora has been beaten in all of his high profile fights. You can believe after Campbell and Mitchell losing the right hand side of the card will be even more carefully selected if Eddie serves up another 'stacked card'.
