where next for Dillian Whyte?

Dillian played his part in an enters bout last night. He took some big, big shots and kept on in there, singing his own shots in. He wasn't intimidatied and he didn't freeze in front of a big crowd.

Can Dillian improve? Can he come again and what's next for him in 2016?

he has a lot to improve on and hopefully lasts nights platform will enable that.

He can definitely come back, but needs to work on his defence even if he is to remain a brawler.

I picture Whyte as the next Chisora.
Good enough to give the top 10 a good fight. But not good enough to win the big ones.
That being said he can make some good money doing it.

Whyte needs to work on his fitness I couldn't help but think during the fight that he looked gassed early if he was 6/7kg lighter he could have had more bounce in his leg's after getting tagged in round 1 his legs looked shaky from then on even during the fight you could see him trying to bounce
around Joshua I suspect their is a TOP boxer whith all the move's aka Tim Witherspoon :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag:

I think that Fury and Joshua are the relevant British talent in the heavyweight division, and fighters like Dillian Whyte and Gary Cornish are just stepping stones to give them a boost, just like Sam Sexton was before. However, there are plenty of domestic match-ups available to Dillian Whyte if he is interested in pursuing them, such as Gary Cornish, David Price, Hughie Fury, and Dereck Chisora.

The bulk of the quality fighters in the division are on the European continent, so I'd love to see him fight just about anyone good. I think he'd offer real competition to the likes of a Robert Helenius or Alex Ustinov that would make for a compelling bout.

I was very impressed with Whyte while watching him for the first time this past weekend. My eyes showed me that this kid would have demolished both of those guys in the Arreola fight. It's so nice to see some heavyweight threads and excitement these days. For the first time in like a decade, there's a relatively legitimate top 10 and the names are semi recognizable to fans.

For me Whyte should start developing his talent and improving technically over the next two years. The basics like heart, chin and power are all there.

If Joshua vacates the British and Commonwealth then Whyte should then clean up domestically.

If and when Joshua vacates the euro title then Whyte should go for the vacant belt.

Also once Joshua gets to world level Whyte should start fighting common opponents.
This is the same tactic that Warrington is using for the Selby fight.

The biggest fight financially for Whyte will be the Joshua rematch 2 years down the road at world level.
The Chisora comparison was a fair one. To be a European champion and fight for a world title would be a successful and reachable goal for Whyte.

I would go after Americans if I were him, Wilder, Scott, such guys. If he wants to fight against an English guy, I'd like to see him against Hughie Fury

I think he should get a couple of more wins and then go after Wilder, he's better than anyone Wilder has fought since he won the title by a long way. Or if there is big money rematch AJ.

As people have mentioned, he should rebuild with a couple wins and then look to pick up Joshua's vacated belts, their aren't many domestic names that I wouldn't expect him to beat.
He walks through the likes of Sexton, Sprott, Cornish, Lewison etc.. So he may as well rebuild against them type of guys over the next twelve months before having a bash at the EBU and seeing where things go from there.

I'm interested to see how much success he ends up having. Some seem to believe that in light of troubling AJ he's top ten material, but I'm not so sure.

How do you think that would go ,,, After watching the AJ fight i think he might have too much of everything for hugh ...

So the thing to do is chase that fight KO Hugh ,, and tell people very loud and very clear , Tysons next, call them names , . insult Tysons dad , tell the world Tysons missis will make a good sandwhich , and he's prepared to spread the butter and put the filling in , call Tyson a smelly gypo ,, sell out Wembley for the big grudge match ..

After he loses , he can say ,,,, I WAS ONLY KIDDING ,,,, give Tyson a hug , wait till monday ask the bank manager to cash his cheque , Hire a security van to drop it all off , start counting with a dozen beers , a bottle of jacks couple of lines , , get half way through counting and forget what he's up too ,, So order a pizza , couple of hookers , send out for some more charlie and beer , and start all over again

When he's finished book a holiday to recover , and live happilly ever after .. See its easy . :TU:

Everyone is really big on Whyte after that fight and I don't really get it. Unlike other posters I don't think we will walk through Hughie or even Sexton - he just got KO'd and his best win was against 2015 Brian Minto, who came in a week before as a last minute replacement and at the best of times is not the fighter he used to be.
