PBC's prime time numbers continue to drop

I think that PBC is okay quality-wise and the volume of fights has been impressive, but Rafael tweeted that Saturday's card did 1.8m and figures for the 5 NBC prime time editions have dropped each time: 3.374M, 2.882M, 2.327M, 2.179M, 1.8M.
I haven't followed the business aspect closely---with all the money being spent on PBC (time-buys and to the fighters) how does it work out in the long run with this type of decline? Does anyone know if the ratings are good enough apart from this for PBC to be sustainable?

Well i think pbc buys airtime and keeps advertising revenues. No idea how much they make from ads. The production value along with their match ups stink however so hopefully Haymon goes bust soon and his fighters sign with proper promoters.

Once again, Pretty Ricky shows us all how clueless he really is.
Newsflash genius- those fighters DO have proper promoters. And you don't hear any of the fighters complaining either.

What were these NBC prime time headliners ?
I think one was Wilder v Duhaupas which says it all.
The fight in Saturday was apparently quite good but was really intended as a tick over fight for Figueroa. Demarco had lost his last 2 and come out of retirement. Was a nothing fight really.
They just need to put on more proper fights Thurman v Porter absolutely great fight but what's happening with it ?

And me replying to this proves I am actually Brut in that cretinous mass posing as your brain, right?
It is getting easier and easier to own you.
Al Haymon doesn't promote those fighters or those PBC cards.
A real fan would know that.

Yes technically Haymon is the manager, not the promoter, but let's not pretend he isn't blurring the lines a bit.

Lol he is pretty much the promoter. Whatever strawman promoter he has in place is doing whatever haymon tells them.
And of course the fighters aren't complaining. They get to beat up chumps for good money.

If done correctly the product works.
The standout success for PBC this year was Santa Cruz- Mares. Huge numbers.
It's also great for the fighters as well as very good money it's also exposure.
If the business side starts losing money he's got the roster and the influence to make a quality fight in a number of weight divisions.
I wouldn't be surprised to see 3-4 great match ups next year.
Hopefully Porter- Thurman is the first one.
