Arsen stalking Mondo down using his straight punch arsenal and faster hands to win the rounds. Mondo limited but has an excellent left hook.

Arsen started round 5 and 6 aggressively. Arsen ended up slightly hurting Mondo and never let him off the hook till the ref stepped in. A little quick on the stoppage and Mondo including his corner were VERY vocal about it.

Santos looking to close the distance in round 1 and Vity boxed well under pressure behind his lead hand. Vitu mixed well to the body too. Vitu's hands are much better and his reach is also.



Between round 1 and 2, Vitu's corner confirmed the gameplan was to box from distance. His corner gave him the advice to land the left to the solar plexus and to never let Santos get on the inside.

Right when round 2 started, Santos started aggressively cornering Vitu and landing some hard bullying shots...

Vitu still won the round 2 with the better combos and lead hand, but Santos showed him he could close the distance.




In round 3 Santos cornered and countered Vitu and was able to hurt him. Vitu still boxed better in the round. But Santos landed the better more meaningful shots. Vitu claimed he loss balance when talking with his corner but the replay clearly showed he was hurt. Santos economical and methodical. This fight will get better as it progresses.

Slow round 4 with Vitu starting to drop his output... I expect he will get pressured in the ropes in round 5 and it should get really interesting and brutal.

Santos stalking Vitu down but Vitu using lateral movement and distance combos to keep him off early in round 5. The cocky hands down style could backfire on Vitu while he is moving because Santos likes to jump in the pocket with the hook.

In Round 6 Vitu is still able to flurry and move laterally to deal with Santos' pressure... But the fighting on the inside is getting more and more frequent and more intense... Vitu stopped moving as much in the final minute of the round where he flurried and fought with Santos on the inside. Vitu starting to hold a little too. The drop in movement should increase as the round add up.
