I have heard that Muhammad Ali had never refused to give an autograph in his whole career. Is it true?

In Aug. or Sept '79 I was at the OLD.. MARK ATHONY'S on Wethersfield Ave in Hartford [Across from the Ukarain center..] for a appearance by Muhammad Ali. I went there with some original items to give to him 1) a large "open letter" to Muhammad Ali published in a New Bedford, Mass news-print &2) two BoxSport publications from Germany in which Muhammad was in some sparring/exhibitions AFTER HIS RETIREMENT & THE LEON II. I also gave him "something"/Poster WE WANT YOU/U.S.ARMY because I had just gotten out of the ARMY & + Muhammad had come to CT originally to attend something with the VETERANS but, it became controversial and was canceled.
After I gave these things to Muhammad and asked if he had ever seen them before (he hadn't) he asked me couple of times, "you are giving these to me" (I was standing right behind him at his Right side), Muhammad ASKED ME if I wanted his autograph.
Later at some point I also got one letter from him too.
