Inoue's last fight was in December 2014 against Narvaez when he won the WBO sfw title. Then from what I read he was inactive this year due to an injury.

How Inoue will look against Parrenas after this long period of lay off ? Anybody knowing something about Parrenas ?

Parrenas, who went by the name "Wars Katsumata" during his time in Japan, has fast hands, can punch,
likes to mix, also gets hit, and has plenty of experience fighting in Japan:

Suggested tonight that Inoue is tight at the weight and might move up soon. Supposed to be fighting Narvaez again after this, he has a rematch clause that he's likely to use.

If he gets past of Parrenas I'd like to see Inoue fighting Cuadras or Arroyo , next year.

Warren has heard that he looks a country mile off and has already spoke to the WBO about the possibility of making Butler-Conlan for the vacant title if he misses weight.

Looked fine with NO MENTION AT ALL about weight issue at yesterday's media training session. He's said he's 100% and weight was never mentioned. I dare say Warren likes talking...

Sounds like Inoue wants to beat Parrenas the way he beat Sano, one handed. Almost all the quotes were about his jab being stronger than ever.

Re the rankings- I wonder where Takuma will be in January, if he beats Dacquel on the 29th

Normally I take gossip talk like this with a pinch of salt.
I sort of believe this due to the fact he'd been sitting next to the WBO president all night. So it seems that would be the source for his knowledge of Inoue weight issues.

I so hope it's wrong as no fight excites me more in 2016 than a Inoue-Gonzalez fight. It would have to be super fly now as it looks highly unlikely Inoue is making a catchweight any time soon. And if his weight is a problem I can't see Gonzalez ever going above Super-Fly.

He has a cracking relationship with the WBO and I'd be amazed if Conlan-Butler isn't at a minimum a eliminator.

My guess would be an eliminator, but both would get squashed by the Monster on the same night. Several leagues between then.

They're hardly going to say he's dead at the weight are they, every fighter says that training's gone well and they're in great shape.

Butler's just won the WBO European title, that's enough to move an unranked fighter into the top 10, considering he's already ranked 11 he's likely to move up to somewhere around 6 or 7 in the next set of rankings. One defence, especially if it's against top 10 ranked Yoan Boyeaux, will be enough to put him and Conlan at least in the top 5, with Warren's influence and John Handelaar from the board on the championship committee makes it likely that the Butler-Conlan fight, when it happens, will be either for the vacant title, or a final eliminator, with the winner getting a vacant title fight once Inoue moves up.

He said the Samartlek fight was his last at 108lbs and that be was killing himself there, odds are he would have said the same here. Worth noting his stalemate has just got.on board with someone who has made his weight loss easier, with that fighter moving back down to 108 himself.

I suspect it'll be an eliminator for the Inoue/Narvaez II winner as opposed to a vacant title fight. Narvaez seems tight with the WBO and looks to be enforcing his rematch clause in Spring for Inoue's US debut. He'll likely look at what's on the table for fall 2016,whether he can get a unification with Kono, have another mandatory, a unification with the Cuadras/Srisaket II winner, a possible move up, or whatever.

Genuinely can't see Butler/Conlan being a vacant title bout despite what Warren says.

He was very open when he was draining at 108lbs, his father also suggested that he was going to top out at 126lbs waaaay down the line. Back in August (I think it was) him and Yamanaka were asked about a fight and hinted that the future may see them fighting but for now they were in different weights and it was unlikely to change any time soon.

Maybe he is struggling, but nothing from Japan supports the story.

His trainer has come out and said something that roughly translates as "His easiest weight loss ever", some thing we certainly never heard when he was fighting at 115lbs...puts it down to having some secret recipe, against Narvaez they changed his diet too iirc.

Only a few hours from the weigh in so we'll see, noises from Japan suggest he's more than fine. I suspect 114.75-115 first time and looking ripped as fornicate. Parrenas apparently had a lil excess fat at the medical check, nothing too notable

Can't see him moving up soon as there have been noises about building towards a super fight with Gonzalez.

Hope Inoues hand is good as he looks a serious talent hopefully he gets three fights in 2016 with one against Kono.

If Gonzalez rematches Estrada and beats Ruenrong in 2016 a fight between him and Inoue could be mega in 2017
