i always hear about big match ups not happening, because "it is not the right time", "we have to build the fight first".

i answer, eff this sh&/(t. boxing builds itself by quality match ups and fights with big names. what i mean by this, if ortiz-wilder doesnt get huge attention, than surely ortiz-wilder II will get a lot of attention, cause the puplic will see the first time, 2 super heavy punchers, with exciting styles.

ortiz and wilder dont need to face some b levels. that wont build sh)$"&t. top dogs vs top dogs is the name of the song.

wilder vs ortiz + a good undercard (jacobs-lemieaux) is ppv :OhYes:

Ortiz is going the WBA route and Wilder holds the WBC, so this is basic ignorance of boxing politics.

Don't be surprised if he fights the winner of Glazkov v Martin, dodging Povetkin with the "unification" clause. Why do you think Glazkov agreed to the fight with 3 weeks notice to be on the Wilder card?

I smell what you're cooking.
The Wilder people may be afraid of Povetkin.
So Wilder fights the winner of Glaskov-Martin.
The WBC strips Wilder.
WBC orders Povetkin-Joshua (ranked #2 by WBC).

You know as much as I hate split titles, these are some really damn good fights and that's what it's all about.

The WBC won't strip wilder for fighting the winner of glazkov martin since it would be a unification. The question will be after that fight. Since he would most likely have both the WBC and IBF, does one become expendable.

Wilder has been very pampered and carefully matched.

You can be sure he won't face anyone as dangerous as Ortiz.

Stiverne has been very overrated, considering his best wins are over a badly shot Arreola. Stiverne was losing on the cards to 40-something Ray Austin when he finally landed a good punch. He has power, but otherwise he;s not a good heavyweight at all.

Ortiz is bigger with a longer reach and much better-skilled than Stiverne.

That's too bad because i was really hoping to see Ortiz (who I consider the most skilled HW) beat the brakes off of him.
