with Langford ranked high by the WBO this fights a possibility down the line. What is peoples opinion on it. Although Langford not boxed at this Level he has a great amateur career behind him beat everything with ease in front of him so far.

Personally too early for Langford but don't think it would be the walkover many will no doubt expect for Saunders.

Neither carry massive one punch power (although I do think Langfords getting more powerful, starting to plant his feet more too) so it'd likely go the 12 rounds. Only worry for Langford would be that his chin has never really been tested whereas Saunders has.

Both are really good boxers and pick they're punches really well. Langfords never gone the 12 but he has done 10 rounds (albeit only once) and seems to have a really good engine. We all know Billy Joe tends to fade in the later stage of a fight could this be an issue?

I've got a feeling this fight could happen soon, as a fan of Langford I'd probably like to see it a bit further down the line (year or two) but if a world title fights put on the table you couldn't knock him for jumping at it.

I think Langford is all wrong for Saunders.

I think it's inevitable that this fight will happen. I would imagine a win for BJS with a performance similar to Saturday night.

Langford has to prove himself at a significantly higher level for me to be interested in this fight. Even if he's just a standard British level fighter he should be beating all the guys he's faced so far, the last of whom was put down 7 times by Eubank Jr.

Too early. Crack on his path and ignore Saunders for now. Let's not get him fed to Saunders for the sake of it. If he's good enough he'll get a shot eventually.

Really rate Tommy but this fight comes too soon for him.
I'd expect BJS to win the first load of rounds comfortably with tommy to nick a couple at the end. Scorecards around the 117-111 mark.

Domestically it's a very good division. There's some big fights to be made. Blackwell, Eubank, Doran,Etches, O'Kane.
So even if Tommy loses there's still big fights he can fall back on domestically.

My initial reaction, as it stands now, this should be nobodies idea of a "world title" fight, even in 2015.

Langford looks a reasonable prospect, at the lower end of the domestic top ten, and should be thinking of a British title shot in the next year.

I can understand why it would be made, as the promoter can't lose the title, and it seems like Tommy sells a few tickets (just like Smith-Kelly). I just don't think it should be.

Stylewise I just think Billy struggles big time.

O'Kane would be a good fight. Especially if they made it a British title eliminator.

Langford vs. Blackwell next on the same card as Saunders vs. Eubank jr 2 would be ideal...

Tommy was a good amateur rather than elite like Bjs. I think they are at least a couple of levels apart. Plenty of other domestic middles to cut his teeth on. Think he beats etch and maybe O'kane in this country, Taylor would be a pick em, Ryder and Blackwell beat him.Good fighter tho.

Langford's fighting Lewis Taylor for the Commonwealth title in Liverpool.

Langford too much for Lewis Taylor and I believe he will outbox Blackwell although would be a good test

Tommy and Lewis had similar amateur pedigrees,neither possess devastating power and I would say both are good technicians. Taylor's win over jez Wilson last time out and the disputed loss to o Kane in Ireland suggest this will be a tough fight for both lads. All about opinions tho, good fight
