The only good fighter he has beaten was Jorge Paez Jr & the Mauricio Herrera fight was a robbery. His resume & opponents he fought doesn't look that good either, his recent fight was against Sidney Siqueira an did yall know this guy was ranked 317 in the 140 division.Bottom line Beanavidez never beated a elite fighter or hardly a average fighter, most of the guys he beat where lower class fighters.Facts to prove it before Herrera fight, opponents Henry Auraad a bum,Angel Hernandez a bum,Prince Doku jr a bum,Pavel Miranda a bum.Proven no solid wins before his wba title shot.

It barely matters. He's only a 23-year-old prospect. It's not like you're looking back on Felix Sturm or Sven Ottke at the end of their career and remaking on how they'd been paper champions all throughout their primes. Benavidez is a still improving fighter with an influential promoter who was merely gifted with the minor glimmer of an interim belt while he is still coming up.

Yeah Benavidez is a improving fighter an has some talent but who has he beaten is the question?Who has beat but Jorge Paez jr,even in his last fight,he fought another bum,the guy was ranked 317 in the junior welterweight divison & he never beat anyone with a winning record.

I'm very unsold on him, on his debut they were talking about the best thing since SRR but it seems like he's just a middling prospect. I dare say the likes of the Inoue's, Tanaka, Maruta, have all scored better wins already. The likes of Usyk, Bivol and Berinchyk are all far better prospects

I have seen other young prospects in the division with better resumes than benavidez, guys like jack catterall,Anthony yigit,Jose Feliz jr,Maurice hooker,Mike reed, pedro campa, and Leonardo zappavigna & Jason Pagara.most of the guys benavidez defeated where bums!

Benavidez shouldn't even been a challenger for a world title because of all those bum fights he had.

As Interim holder the fact they let Broner fight for the regular title over him, was the stupidest thing the WBA did this year and they did a few.

He needs to live the life and control his weight.
The talents there but I'm unsure about the will power.

Most of the guys you just listed are either several years older than Benavidez and would have made it by now if they were any good, or are the same age as Benavidez but have fought substantially weaker opposition. The only nominations that I think have valid basis for comparison are Jack Catterall and Pedro Campa; neither of whom I think outshine Benavidez, but both of whom are at least in a similar ballpark.

Also, this is more of a nitpick, but that list of fighters is a bunch of guys who are natural 140's mostly. By the time Benavidez reaches his prime, he will be fighting at 154 and 160. Benavidez is 5' 11" with a 73" wingspan, both of which would be about average in the middleweight division; he just needs to add the body weight, and of course win a belt at each division he visits if possible. I only mention that because these fighters aren't going to be Benavidez's divisional rivals in the long term.

Thats bull some of those fighters i listed fought weaker opposition but they beaten some better fighters than Benavidez did in the past even his last fight he fought was against a straight bum & he couldn't even get rid off the guy,he had to win it by a decision.
