Well after this statement of David Haye which he told to sky sports that
"If I was to fight him, I'm sure there are people who would think that AJ would beat me and I love the thought of that - getting into a fight where people are not quite sure what happens but if I tag Anthony Joshua, can he take my power?"

So how do you look that what are the chances of David Haye against Joshua?

I think it's too early to tell really as Haye's been out of the ring for a few years and may be on the slide by now. Let's see how he looks in his comeback fight first. If Haye looks great he probably won't be allowed near AJ until one of them has a title, then we have a superfight.

If Haye's as good as he used to be then he should be a clear favourite against Joshua.

If Whyte can have Joshua in big trouble then I'd think that Haye could take him out.

Haye was a world class boxer who fought at the highest level and beat a range of opponents.

Joshua hasn't faced a European level fighter let alone a world class fighter so if Haye still has the ability he should be favourite.

Haye can move and avoid shots and he has the ability to land powerful punches. If Joshua can beat him then he is definitely the real deal

Agreed, but Joshua will have learned some valuable lessons from that very fight. I think he's going to be a lot less gung-ho from now on.

I agree, but he will still have chin and stamina issues (although so does Haye).

It remains to be seen what Haye has left, but as has been pointed out, if he is as good as he was then he's a strong favorite to beat Joshua in my book.

I mean, if Haye is at or near his best, he wins currently. AJ has just never been tested on Haye's level.

However, Haye has been injured and out of the ring for several years. The question is not can a prime Haye beat Joshua. The question is, how close to his best will Haye be?

I agree with one or two others here. Haye wins this fight if he's the fighter of old.

I guess there's no way we'll know whether he is or not until we see him action again.

I hate Haye I have said it 100 times on here.
But I would love to see him comeback with at least 80% of what he had.
It would make for a few interesting fights.

That being said. Haye relies on speed and timing for his power.I just can not see him
coming back and using the same style he had and being able to compete at the top level.
His age and his long layoff will be his downfall
