Can't fight on the inside. Can't keep fighters off him. Can't take a shot.

Incredibly inactive (although i suspect that's down to juicing).

Beat me to it but honestly there's so much more than that, he is not able to fight going backwards and show good defense while doing so, he leaves himself open to counters.

The only reason why he was able to beat Collazo in the fashion he did was because Luis showed absolutely zero respect for Khan's punching power and he just simply walked him down with his hands down literally begging to be tagged.

If Khan gets walked down like the way he did vs Algieri with a fighter who has power then he will get put to sleep again.

Defense is a weak point when having to fight going backwards as well as the aforementioned glass jaw.

Weak chin, Defensive lapses, Tends to get overly aggressive at times leading to more defensive lapses and more chances for his opponent to catch him on his weak chin.

When folks say his chin, they actually shine a light (or throw shade) on his REAL biggest flaw: defense.

He cannot block punches to save his life.

Look at the relatively slow handed guys that caught up to him- Maidana, Peterson, Garcia, Diaz, etc.

If you can make him miss and time him with counters, you don't have to be elite to beat Amir.

And, if you ARE elite or near it, you can beat him soundly or put him thru hell.

This is why, even though I think he is one of the most offensively talented guys out there,
I can't pick him against any of the top guys at 147- not even Brook now that I think on it.

Is he still with Hunter ?

Wouldn't surprise me if he moves again if he ever signs to fight again

Poor defence.
Little ring intelligence or ability to adapt.
Mediocre punch power.

Khan has great handspeed and decent movement, but he's too predictable and fights on rails, anyone with timing and/or a good engine catches up to him, and when Khan get's tagged, he's not got the ability to be calm under pressure and fight smart, so he gets hurt.

I disagree with the punch power.

I think Amir has very decent power for the weight.

You don't make a guy like Collazo gunshy without having at least a little pop.

But, I wholeheartedly agree with the adaptability crack.

I have NEVER seen Khan have a plan B, nevermind the multiple in fight adjustments you see greats make.

Pac, Floyd, JMM all did it.

And that is part of the reason why Canelo and Crawford and yes, even lil g, get raves from folks.

They seem to be able to change up, to adjust when something is either not working or not working fast enough.

Even Thurman has shown this ability at times.

But not Khan.

Once you got Amir figured out, it becomes a race between his chin and the bell. Nothing else.

Strengths
One of the best hearts i ever seen
Very good speed and reflexes
Good movement and stamina

Weaknesses
Deluded third person talking spiv only concerned with a pac/money payday he has done nothing to deserve.he isnt even a top 8 140-147 fighter.porter, brook, matthyse, thurman, mayweather, berto, garcia, peterson would all beat him. He is just a level above broner, provodnikov,a shame as has the talent to be more
Other obvious weakness is one of the worst foolish boxing brains ever seen in a decorated olympian and dual world champion.wasted his first 8 years fighting a headstrong amateur style, has remedied that a little with virgil hunter but i cant see him prolonging his career by becming a mccallum or kalambay in the brains department

Khan's sense of entitlement is baffling in the extreme.

He's an ex lightweight & junior welterweight that's trying to make a name for himself at 147 & thanks to his inability to take part in actual contests with an regularity, has made only a small splash in the welterweight division, yet he somehow thinks that the most celebrated & established 147 lbers should be giving him paydays! :-?

The 147 lb division has a big talent pool & could quite happily exist without Amir Khan & the sooner he realises that, the better for him.

Khan is a master at shooting himself in the foot, and putting his foot in his mouth. He has had the chance numerous times to fight the likes of Porter, Thurman, Guerrero, Brook, Spence, Garcia, etc. but instead fights guys like Algieri and Collazo? Not that either is a tomato can, but come on. Khan wants a big payday, then retire. I would even be satisfied with him vs Berto. At least Berto has a punchers chance.

This another Khan hater thread, it's obvious that if you put a title up like that, a negative, closed question, you will only get negative answers, pathetic.

What's pathetic about it?

I don't agree verbatim with every take here, but they are all pretty defensible.

And I don't detect hate or malice as much as I detect frustration that here is a guy with a load of talent who, for whatever
reason, is afraid to do what he needs to do in order to actually earn the big fights that he sits back and hopes fall in his lap.

You see different, feel free to point it out, Anzi.

Where did the juicing bit come from? Has he been done for something I don't know about?
