Howard Davis Jr passes

Sad news the Davis Jr passed away from cancer at age 59, a supremely talented boxer. Won gold at Montreal, and the outstanding boxer award. When you think Ray Leonard was in that team as well, goes to show how good Davis jr was.

His pro career probably didn't plan out as most would of hoped, he lost 3 world title challenges against Watt, Rosario and McGirt.

When diagnosed with cancer he said "I never ask why I got [cancer]. I just started fighting. If you are a champion, champions don't quit."

RIP

R.I.P, a true uncrowned champion, him and Bernard Taylor, great fighters who were massively
unlucky never to be champion of the world.

Jim Watt's best win. He was a good fighter.

Just saw he got a draw against Meldrick Taylor and lost a close one to Edwin Rosario. Didn't realise that.
