Or WBA regular, everytime someone says we have 12 world champions it suggests that Jamie McDonnell is a world champion and he isn't.

The boys are doing well, more power to them.
But I don't think I'm alone in thinking that only about half a dozen of the guys on that list will still have their belts in twelve months time, I may be wrong though.

This is almost my worst nightmare becoming a reality. I'm not sure if i've been clear about this in the past or not but i'm not a huge fan of the British Boxing Fans or their boxers. And i've been hearing it from the filthy Brits because every other weekend they're strapping up another world champ.
All jokes aside, I think it's fantastic for the sport and I am excited to see some big fights televised across the pond because I love how they call fights over there. And there's nothing lucky or flukey about their champions or top fighters so i won't even try to use that to aggravate the filthy buggers.

Mcdonnell has more of a claim than others on that list, he has 3 world class wins and quite a few solid ones as well.
We do have 11 belt holders, but only 1 champion.
Degale, McDonnell, Brook could all possibly become number 1 in their division and thus a champion.
Quigg, Frampton, Flannagan, Crolla, Selby , Smith, BJS & Haskins will all take routes away from trying to become the best in the division.
Im glad and proud to have so many world level boxers, but trying to put together all there world class wins compared to other countries would show the true levels.
Wladamir Klitschko, Andre Dirrell , Lucien Bute, Andy Lee, Shawn Porter, Perez, Gradovich, Montiel, Kiko Martinez , Avalos ,Iwasa , Kameda x2, Ceja.
any other world class wins we could add to the list? even some of these are questionable.

Those 11 fighters hold recognised world titles, Jamie McDonnell does not. He may well be a better fighter than some but I'm not going to legitimise the WBA's bullshit by calling him a world champion until he wins a real world title. If he beat good opposition for the IBO, WBU, WBF, etc, no one would call him a world champion, the same should apply with the WBA regular.
Every one of those fighters will take the route that offers the most money, McDonnell more than most. Don't see why it's more likely that he becomes number 1 in the division than any of the rest, he isn't beating Moreno, Payano and Yamanaka, unlikely to even fight them. For me he still needs to prove he's the best in Britain before he goes and does anything else.
I'd make it less than that to be honest, Bute's well past it, Perez will go down as one of the worst "world" champions in history, Montiel's past it too and 2-3 weights above his natural weight and Ceja's only borderline world class now, definitely wasn't when Haskins beat him nearly 3 years ago.
I would add Magdaleno and Afolabi beating Chakhiev to the list though and a x2 next to Martinez as well considering that Frampton and Quigg both beat him.
Of the 11, Brook is the longest reigning champion at 17 months, most of them have only just hit the world scene in 2015, it will take time for them to pick up wins at the highest level. 6 of them are yet to make their first defences and another 3 have only made one defence, Brook and Flanagan lead the way with 2 defences apiece. As they continue to defend their titles that list will grow and grow, there'll be more world champions to come this year too, I'd expect Satchell, Butler, S Smith, Walsh, C Smith, Cox and Bellew to fight for world titles and the likes of Yafai, Farrag, Catterall and Williams to enter the mix ready for 2017. Others like Burns, Murray, Groves, Cleverly, Enzo and Ovill will be hoping for another go too and there's always some that get unexpected opportunities, something will come up for someone like Ryan Walsh.
If we go back a few years then Burns has world class wins, so does Enzo Macc, could be argued that Murat was for Cleverly, Haye at cruiser and heavyweight, Khan, Butler beat Hall and with a bit of luck with the judging then Murray, Groves, Ovill and Macklin would all have wins at world level on their record too.

The UK had an outstanding year in 2015.
I was especially impressed by Anthony Joshua, Terry Flanagan, Scott Quigg and Liam Smith - and of course, the fighter of the year, Tyson Fury.
Looking forward to seeing these guys in 2016. I'd like to see Joshua fight HWs I rank from 11 to 25 (Chisora, Helenius, Takam, Scott, etc), Smith fight one of the top light middleweights like Charlo (if he can be persuaded to come to the UK where the fight would make more money), Saunders fight Golovkin, and Fury fight Wilder after he defeats Klitschko again.
