Is Wallisch a legit Heavyweight prospect? Yes he is... he has decent skills and pop... mainly a very good natural straight right that possesses good timing and power.

But he gets a little repetitive which makes him look slightly limited offensively. The right and the set up with the jab has been so effective that he seems to have never bothered setting up more diversity.

His KTFO of the Year Contender in 2014 vs Schadwill 7-0 6KO

Wallisch started his career VERY aggressively fighting 6 times in less than 9 months. It all culminated in 2011 when he fought and defeated Saglam 27-0 with only 12 months of pro experience.

Weird thing is his career then stalled pretty bad... fought only once more in 2011, once in 2012 and twice in 2013. He didn't get much visibility through that process either.

He reunited with the TV spotlight in 2013 when he fought twice... fought 3 times in 2014 starting the year with the KTFO contender vs Schadwill... Fought only once in 2015 though, a decent win vs former Italian cruiserweight prospect Fabio Tuiach... His natural weapon did the talking early

Let's hope this early fight in 2016 is a sign of possible high activity! I'm intrigued in knowing who he will fight. Wallisch follows TTR on twitter so i will ask him!

Ive heard that the best German heavyweight prospects are

1 Wallisch
2 Schwarz
3 Christian Lewondowski
4 Meznecev

is this correct?
Wallisch looked to have excellent potential around the time he beat Saglam, but it may be too late for him now. He should have been fighting 3-5 times a year, like other up-and-comers.

Of the others, Christian Lewondowski appears to be the best and is still young enough to develop and improve.

shame Rekowski fight fell through.

that would have been a step up.

as it is, Michael Wallisch seems to fight once a year and has been scraping the bottom

so far he seems slow and one -dimensional.

On the undercard, some would consider Dennis & Christian Lewandowski even better german heavyweight prospects.

WHile Dennis' physique is very deceiving and might look slightly unbalanced... He is actually in full control, patient and very effective. He is quick at setting hsi backfoot for very well timed impressive precise counters.

He gets a little sloppy when he lets his hands go on the inside but he is very efficient, carries very good pop. One to keep an eye on for sure.

Dennis doesn't impress me at all, he has struggled against VERY poor opponents. But Christian has talent and may possibly become a top 10 contender in a few years.

Wrong undercard, it's on the De Carolis undercard! oops

Still has skills though... shitty work rate but patience, skills and is efficient. If he can get in shape and have a better work, i think Dennis is also worth keeping an eye on.
