The Light Welterweight Divison Nowadays Lack Competition.

Today light welterweight division isn't that competitive, the best fighters in the divison are Terence Crawford,Viktor Postol,Adrien Broner,Ruslan Provodnikov,Lucas Matthysse,Amir Imam,Adrian Granados,Maurcio Herrera,Jack Catterall,Antonio Orzco,Humberto Soto,John Molina,Thomas Dulorme,Jose Benavidez,Hank Lundy,Omar Figueroa, and Eduard Troyanovsky. The rest of the guys in the division are medicore & average fighters, who fought weaker opposition.A lot times its hard for the top guys in division to get good fights because the other top fighters won't fight another top fighter, and its hard for them to find other decent opponents to fight with a decent resume, thats why u see a lot guys at 140 fighting guys at lightweight are even having catch weight fights.

The UK light welter division doesn't lack competition, there's a number of fighters who when matched would make good fights for the fans i.e Ryan v Catterall, Jenkins v Davies JR, Nurse v Martin or Hibbert

I agree the united kingdom fighters are very good at 140,but look at Ruslan Provodnikov for a example,no guys thats on top in the division, wants to fight him,he can't hardly even get a fight, are even get a date to fight.Rulsan last fight,he fought was against a bum,why because no one with a decent record wants to fight him,are they would try to avoid him.

Be honest how many top 140 fighters or rising prospects in the division, have scheduled fights are a date to fight, not many. But its so of a competitive division rite, the division isn't stacked with competition, like welterweight are super welterweight division, there are plenty fights to be made at 147 or 154.

Guys in the division that are ranked from 40 to 80 are pretty average fighters or either a young prospect, trying to pursue there careers.Like I say the division isn't stacked with competition like the 147 or 154 divison,a lot of top guys in the 140 division hardly have dates to fight or able to find a good opponent.

maybe he should try to avenge herrera, algieri, matthysse before he talks about taking on more top guys.
bradley is a top guy who fought him, fought the dumbest fight bradley could fight, and still won.
yeah bradley made it a much harder fight than he should have, but at the same time provo's corner
was talking about stopping it, which has happened in several of his fights. provo doesn't know how
to avoid making a fight a tough fight, and those beatings are not good for his health. if he takes any
more beatings from top guys, he should retire. provo could be another boxing tragedy if he isn't careful.

Did you really just say 154 is stacked

mate it's the worst and most boring division in boxing, hardly any boxing fans even watch light middleweight world title fights apart from Alvarez fights. Apart from Alvarez it's a completely dead division,

The 154 division is the most worst and boring division, when they have fighters like Erislandy Lara,Miguel Cotto,The Charlo brothers,Austin Trout,Saul Alarez,Julian Williams,Liam Smith,Willie Nelson,Tony Harrison, and Charles Hatley. There are plenty fights that could be made at 154,and boxing fans still watch light middleweight title fights as well, the 154 division is far from dead. :shame:

That's because its not a real division. Its a place to hideout if you don't want to face the best lightweights or welterweights, so it makes perfect sense it lacks Competition.

It kept Arguello and Pryor from fighting Duran and Leonard.

The best fights that where made at 140,in 2015 where Matthysse vs Postol, Matthysse vs Ruslan Provodnikov, Amir Imam vs Adrian Granados, Soto vs Antonio Orozco, Terence Crawford vs Thomas Dulorme, Jose Benavidez vs Jorge Paez jr, Omar Figueroa vs Ricky Burns, and Eduard Troyanovsky vs Cuenca. Terence Crawford recent fight he had fought,he had to fight Dierry jean a lightweight, not a solid 140 pounder, with elite skills or with great talent.

I guarantee you if you've got a light weight like Dejan Zlaticanin are a super featherweight like Francisco Vargas they would have beaten most of the guys in the 140 division are even Mikey Garcia.

I agree Ruslan should try to revenge his lost to Herrera are Algieri,no doubt Ruslan should have not lost to feather punchers like Herrera are Algeri.

The question is if Algieri or Herrera really want to face Provo or they will price themselves out.
