Martin could really outbox Glazkov with the right gameplan

It's really interesting to see how Glazkov vs Martin will go.

Martin has developed a pressuring style with a very lengthy jab in his recent fights...

He has even used the blinding jab in recent bouts.

That straight carries good pop

Martin is a decent finisher too

If Martin plays it safe behind that jab, it will be hard for a straight punch flurry type of fighter like Glazkov to negate the reach and movement from Martin. Glazkov will have to deal with big power shots too.

Glazkov needs to close the distance in this one and have a very high work rate. He is more compact on the inside and has better punch fluidity.

I really think this is a hard fight to call.

Glazkov hasn't impressed me as much as his rankings deserve.

I still fancy Gkazkov on points but wouldn't be surprised by a Martin stoppage.

Agreed that it is a tough one to call. In the end, I think glazkov's amateur pedigree wins out and he comes on strong in the last few rounds to eek out a close 7-5 type decision.

Very interesting fight. I think that Martin may stop Glazkov. But really, I think this fight could go either way by KO or decision. I was thinking that Glazkov would likely get the decision in a relatively close fight but Martin may be considered the more marketable product.

I quite like Martin. He's a bit raw due to taking up boxing late but he's got a pretty decent boxing brain and he's definietly got power to some degree atleast. That combined with the fact I think Glazkov is distinctly average makes it a pretty interesting fight IMO.

Welcome to heavyweight boxing, post Klitschko.

Glazkov has trouble with speed and defensive fighters. On the other hand, I think he has just enough to win here.

I haven't seen Martin fight, but even if I did, it wouldn't change my opinion. One just can't make any conclusions, as Martin's best opponent had boxrec rating under 100. He just hasn't fought anybody with a pulse. I am not saying that Glazkov will beat him. All I am saying is that Martin is basically unknown, so even Glazkov with all his limitations could beat him. Let's just enjoy that card and see.

Glazkov has excellent boxing skills, but he doesn't have the power to stop Martin, who has the height, reach and power advantage.

I'm rooting for Glazkov, but I feel Martin is more likely to win (it's a 60-40 fight).

Martin by late TKO. Glazkov has good skills, but is too small and he doesn't punch hard for a heavyweight.
