Information needed on old Bristol boxer George Rose who boxed between 1926 and 1937. He had approx 236 fights. He boxed Jack kid Berg, Al Foreman etc and was one of the leading boxers of his weigh in the country at the time. Unfortunately he fell on hard times later in life and died in 1978. I am trying to compile information for a book and website on Bristol boxing history but am focusing much of my time on George Rose. If anyone can help in any way I would be very grateful. Old programmes featuring him, clippings, photos, stories etc needed. It doesn't have to be the original copies etc welcome.
