Natsuecow - Classic Film.
Anyway, Dodson is an interesting character certainly - when he beat Brian Barbosa I thought "here goes, we've got a potential world champ here". However, since then I haven't been impressed at all if I'm honest. I was rummaging through some of my old fights and I some very early footage of Dodson's pro career. To be honest, it re-iterated my current opinion of him. I just think he cannot repeat the Barbosa performance.
So, whilst I think its possible he can go a little futher, Dodson vs Magee would be compelling and I think I would favour Dodson. I just don't think he will reach the very top of the devision. I think the true top ten would all beat him.
He might work himself into a position to earn a crack at a geniune world title, but I would be surprised (but delighted) if he would win. However, he's still learning so I hope I'm wrong.
This Dodson vs Froch clash is one I look forward to and one I cannot call, both are on the same level (IMO).

Well stu i think thats about hit the nail on the head my freind,i do think dodson is still learning and has done well for a boy who has only just turned 24 on 2nd july he didnt have that much amature experiance even though he won a lot of titles he only had 36 amature fights so realy he is still learning in what has become a good competitive division i think he would have to much power for magee even though i do think brian is an excellent fighter but very gun shy or scared to get hit or take any risks at all he showed that more so in the reid fight.but lets keep are fingers crossed and hope dodson does find that spark again that beat a genuine world class fighter in barbosa.

A lot depends on how the Board view his second Froch pullout. There were rumours he would be stripped of his British title but I don't know what the very latest is. If the Board allow him to keep his crown, he's still in a good position for the future.
