Beterbiev was offered to fight last fall in Russia, but he declined.

Kovalev vs Beterbiev would be just as good a fight to me.

Yeh, Stevenson vs Kovalev should have happened already, but like a lesser May vs Pac, it still should happen even though it's lost a bit of luster for boxing fans. Just for closure.

As for Beterbiev, who wouldn't want to see Kovalev take him on? I guess only pacifists would have a problem because that fight has ultra-violence written all over it.
