I see the winner facing Rigondeaux no probs,this fight is the perfect platform to it and the winner should feel very confident going in,after this fight where else is there to go?

Yeah I agree. Rigo has no following so whoever wins should be able to secure home advantage without too much trouble. I read the IBF has also said the winner has to defend their belt against Wake too.

either of these are at the peak of their career's and should be taking on this sort of fight , now's a good a time as any to take on the top dogs.

He has no following but no understanding of how much he's worth either. Nailed on that he'll be demanding big money for the fight, likely $1m+, when in reality he'd be doing brilliantly to get 1/2 of that.

Isn't Rigo with Roc nation now? If so they would probably offer the winner good money to fight in the US.
Both men have talked about possibly moving up to feather, I'd like to see the winner have his final fight at Super-bantam against Rigo but I'm not going to hold my breath.

But do HBO want Rigo on their channel again he was abysmal last time he got the chance.

Either of them should fight Rigo even in defeat there name will be known worldwide and imo the loser will move up to challenge at featherweight anyway

they'll both be rich men after the fight and so should have nothing to fear about losing. After their fight, they should look to be the best they can possibly be

I'm sure Rigo's been down 4 or 5 times in his career?? No big deal but why do people talk like he's untouchable!? Rigo would be favourite and rightly so but either Quigg or Frampton would both have half decent chances IMO.

Rigo has a 4 year deal worth 10 million USD with Roc Nation. So unless he starts fighting a lot more regularly definitely more than half that.

hes clearly top drawer but Frampton and Quigg would land on him , its not like he would destroy them ( I don't think so anyway )

he was terrible in his last fight , no urgency at all , done nothing of note.
