I know some will not think Haye will give AJ any trouble but i'm not sure i think Haye has a chance, he has always been hard to hit and looks like he is hitting very hard. We didn't learn much tonight but i for one would love to see Haye v Aj be some buzz around that fight 2 London boys.

I make Haye a pretty big favourite against Joshua if they fight this year. Joshua won't be taking many of Haye's shots that's for sure.

Would love to see it, we seen AJ can take a shot against Whyte but Haye looks like he hits far harder with them Grant gloves. He has explosive KO power and AJ can be hit his defense is still a little weak. If the fight can be made i think we maybe looking at a 80,000 seater wembley if haye can do 16,000 on a comeback against a nobody.

On a side note how did Mark d Mori have a number 10 ranking with the WBA, i've seen better heavyweights in my local boxing clubs, he never landed 1 punch.

If a Haye and AJ fight was on sale would anyone here risk buying a ticket to potentially lose £12-50 booking fee? I would actually like to see AJ fight Haye but to be honest I would be more concered losing the booking fee yet again.

Aj vs haye will be massive fight great payday for both. Haye would beat him though. Aj has beaten his nemisis whyte so won't b fazed by haye.

I think Joshua knocks him out in brutal fashion.

Just good to have some excitement within the British heavy weights. Not a massive fan of Haye but think he brings a lot to the division. Him and AJ would be a massive fight and would easily sell out Wembley

I'm a little shocked that everyone so far thinks Haye beats AJ thought there would be more thinking the opposite, the joys of boxing, i'm not sure Haye will beat him but what i do know it would be a cracker, i think Hayes comeback is no joke i think he has his eyes firmly on all the Heavyweight belts he looks cool relaxed and very very confident, i think he is for real now all the niggly injuries are behind him.

I'm from Dublin, is there a venue any bigger in the UK than Wembley that could host the fight as it will sell out even at 100k 120k venue.

Don't think there's anywhere in the UK bigger than Wembley.

For haye to do 16k for a comeback fight against a nobody and for joshua to do a similar figure against a previously unknown domestic rival i can only agree with you that Haye v Joshua would easily outsell wembley.

yeah 90k seats in wembley - 80k at the Olympic park but there is more floor space for more seats there but not sure how many. I was just googling it myself to have a look.

I think haye would knock aj out,too quick too elusive and hits too hard,i know in the past iv said i couldnt see anyone beating aj at present but that pre 2nd round vs whyte

In fairness, we do not really know how hard Whyte hits nor how good he is. It may turn out to be a massive win by the end of their respective careers. I also do get your point, he did remain upright but I just felt that the first dig he took in a fight and it was not brushed off. He was not dropped or knocked out but he had a severe adverse reaction. Haye would have taken full advantage and possibly finished him off in that situation

Totally agree with you Toby, Haye would have put him away in that situation, its hard to see how AJ would beat Haye but AJ is classy and looks very good at this stage of his career and has beaten and KO'D everyone put in front of him. If i was i betting man i would be on a Haye KO within 6.

Hard to say too much off this showing. Haye KO'ed a stiff. If he can do that to a Wach or even Arreola, fair enough.

Will be interesting so see if he fights again soon and against whom. He's never been the most active of boxers even when injury free.

It very hard to gauge how good AJ and Whyte are because of the level they have been fighting at. My thoughts after watching De Mori's previous fights on youtube (before he fought haye) was that he wasnt far off whytes level. Now after watching the fight im still not sure he's too far off whytes level, but boxing is all about levels, how can we gauge guys who have been knocking out poor opposition against world class fighters? Now i dont think Joshua would have struggled with de mori because he clearly struggled with hand speed on the counter but Whyte doesnt have the same hand speed.

Hopefully around April/May we can have Joshua vs Chisora and Haye vs Whyte on the same card. Would be easy to generate interest.

Then around August get Joshua vs Haye on with a decent undercard in a stadium fight? The winner to fight for the world title around Christmas /New year time.

Even the 35 year old Haye would have too much for AJ. Probably has him done in a couple of rounds. AJ with a punchers chance. The community seems split on who would win this one so it seems a great fight to pursue from the fans point of view.

Joshua's last fight proved that, he was hurt in the second round and a bigger puncher would have finished him, Haye would be a dangerous fight, he needs to develop his defense more and work more on his boxing as Tyson Fury did.
