I dont think last night changes much as De Mori was absolute crap. It looks like Haye still has some good hand speed, which could trouble Joshua if he doesnt improve his head movement. I dont want to see thia fight in 2016, would much prefer to see it next year.

Still too early to say.

Joshua is still a novice & Haye fought an opponent out of the Kell Brook School of Title Defences, so I'm none the wiser about where Haye is right now.

One thing I can say is that Haye needs to take off some weight.

He doesn't need to weigh 227lb & he looked slower for it, although he isn't exactly sloth like.

If he goes in heavy against AJ & tries to go for blowout, he might get poleaxed himself as Joshua looks like he has dynamite in his fists.

This^

They fight in the next 18 months; its Haye who wins.

Thereafter, I would pick AJ.

As an aside, I'm not concerned with Haye being 227. He's 35 and people mature/thicken. If he was 255; I'd take issue. But he ain't.

I'd prefer to see Haye - Wilder.

Joshua had problems with Whyte and was groggy so Haye would KO him.

As long as it is a top 5 guy please! Enough of these fringe contenders.

Dunno.

I would think Joshua.

But, if it is the same David Haye before the layoff, that guy is dangerous to anyone...

...as long as they don't step on his toe, that is.

AJ wins, Haye simply isn't big enough.
I do somehow think that Haye is a better boxer, but he's just not big enough.

Haye. Too slick and experienced. AJ could ko anyone so he never enters the ring without at least a punchers chance, but against Haye he'd struggle to land clean and probably end up walking into a counter overhand right.

Genuinely think Haye would put him away within 3. See it being similar to the Big Mac fight.

Oh FFS...

De Mori was basically a walking corpse. As slow as mud.
His second most recent fight a few months back, before fighting Haye, was against a rank amateur with 2 wins in 7 fights, with all of his 5 losses by way of knockout. That's the level of fighter he was beating.
He shouldn't have been in the same ring, as anyone with eyes in their head could see.
That fight showed us absolutely nothing.

As a fan of both fighters I don't care who would win. It would just very likely be very frantic, very exciting, and very short. Haye appears to have slowed some what with the additional timber that has gone on whilst Mr Joshua is getting too muscle bound for my liking therfore reducing his flexibility a bit. If I was forced to put a bet on it, I would favour Haye at this point simply because of the experience and ringcraft but I would not like to bet more than the 10 pence in my pocket.

Haye has been a bona fide world champion and one of the best British fighters ever

Joshua has potential.

I think Joshua has tremendous potential.

Haye was a good cruiserweight champion a long time ago. Since then he bored everyone out of their minds running against Klit and Valuev.

Until he fights more, I consider him retired.

The Chisora fight was after those fights but that's a moot point. Running or dancing or boxing on the back foot, call it what you will, is a legitimate tactic especially when faced with massively bigger opponents.
