the post fight antics were embarrassing. As Wilder stated 'this isn't WWE'. Taking off your jacket like that

i guess he's playing the part, but..

There's a tweet in my original post mate. It's from a USA today boxing reporter. Apparantly security had to seperate them. Also something about Fury was helping himself to booze behind the bar at the venue or something.

Hmm. I don't really do Twitter but I googled that and read the fella's tweets (ugh, I hate saying that) from last night. Indeed, it says Fury was helping himself behind the bar drinking vodka and generally being a tit, so maybe he did have a pop at Froch? Who knows? There doesn't seem to be anything else about it anywhere yet. I'm sure Ifilm will ask somebody about it.

Tyson Fury, eh. It'll be an interesting era with him as the champion. I hope he keeps winning, because he will be remembered for a long, long time if he manages to hold onto that title. I cringed at him singing "there's only one Tyson Fury", but I'm glad he got in the ring and in Wilder's face and called him a bum. To be honest, Wilder and Martin as 'champions' disgusts me. Neither have beaten anybody of note for their titles. Nobody. How can Wilder call Fury a phony and an actor? He must know, in his heart, he is the dodgiest, most manufactured champion in boxing? Only if you ignore Tyson Fury's existence can you accept Wilder as champion, and good on Fury for gatecrashing the party and making it impossible for them to do that.

Have you been on holiday or something, mate?

Haha na mate. Just focusing on "real life". There's no denying that Fury is the true heavyweight champion.

There is no harm in Fury, he's just playing up to the pantomime villain, I don't care what people say about him, he's great for boxing, I highly doubt Wilder will fight him though.

In that tweet with mike coppinger when questioned why fury went for froch he says he doesn't know and could be mistaken!

Also says he spoke to Froch and he said Fury just likes to yell a lot!

Think it's more a journalist trying to get re-tweets!

Yeah it could be a load of crap. It would seem odd why Fury would go after Froch. I didnt think Carl had said anything in particular I can think of to get Fury riled up.

At the end if the day playing up to pantomine antics or not that was effin embarrassing, wilder just had a fight and was being interviewed why did this clown have to do all this? effing idiot, wilder will splat him like an annoying fly

A bit cringe from Fury but this is the buisness they are in...no publicity is bad publicity...its actually making Wilder relevant...more news feeds and tweets about Furys antics than Wilders victory

Fury is the legit number 1 and champion and thenfirst decent opponent Wilder faces he will lose

The only thing that i would criticise Fury for is acting up while Szpilka was still hurt, although i cant remember if Artur had been stretchered away by then,if he had been then thats not too bad

But all in all im delighted Fury made a scene,we need excitement in boxing, not just the HW division,i can never take Tyson seriously which is why i never get offended or riled by him, truth be told Wilder should be grateful because he's added a few more dollars to this fight

Boxing being boxing though,Klitschko and/or Povetkin will upset the applecart

Tyson Fury is a loon and i love him for it,but more importantly he's HW champ of the world and numero uno so he's mighty relevant,i prefer Fury's buffoonery than all that "yeah baby thats right baby" that all Yanks say post fight

is he really numero uno tho ? I think you are spot-on and I fully expect Klitschko to actually throw a few punches the next time they meet .

He beat Klitschko therefore by the flawless laws of boxing he has to be,people keep going on about Wlad under performing,i fully expect Fury to have plenty more gears to go through as well,Wladimir might giva better showing in a rematch but so will Tyson

I think Fury did what he did last night to sell a future fight. He knows what he is doing, think about it, he beat Wlad which was shown on HBO. A big audience saw him defeat the longtime champ then he sung a song. Both things made the headlines.

Last night on SHO Fury made another scene by challenging one of his main rivals in the divisions. Another massive audience saw this and on another huge American TV channel. Will this generate more or less £ $ for the fight??? Fury will be paid much more if PPV sales are higher so you can see why he has done what he has done.

ps; Is Fury a loon??? maybe but what would Ali be called today?? Happy birthday to the champ who is 74 today but think what he did to Liston etc, turning up at his home through the night to demand the fight, ALSO what about the weigh in where he went mad......what did it generate...INTEREST in the fight, the game and to himself. Just like Fury is doing the now.

Now there's rumours all over twitter that not only did security have to seperate them but that Froch basically legged it aswell! Now I don't know whether to believe that or not lol. To be fair though, whatever the circumstances, Fury is a lot bigger than Froch.

:TU: glad to see you back pal.

I can't see Froch legging it, he's game enough. I can remember reading about Jason Rowland squaring up to Clifton Mitchell over something or other - some people are just game to the core.

Wilder is shockingly bad at boxing for a world champion . Fury would embarrass Wilder. Give him an absolute schooling. You get mongs saying Wilder is athletic and Fury is ungainly when Fury is a far better mover than Wilder. Wilder has garbage footwork and he's clumsy as hell. He's nothing more than a windmill with a hard punch. People probably think he's a good boxer because he has the black and slick look. Fvckin idiots.
You also get mongs who think fury is this class boxer hahaah fuckin clowns
