"There's only wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun Tyson Fuuuuury!"

"I'll fight you in your own backyard. Like I did Klitschko. You're a bum! You're a bum!"

They will never let him near Tyson, he'd absolutely clown Wilder.

Very classless from Fury considering what had just happened

What wast he point... he's fighting Wlad. Just trying to cash in on some publicity while his stock is at an all time high.

The heavyweight division needs this kind of publicity.

Like him or not, Fury is making the division interesting again & so far, he's been able to back up what he has said.

I agree.

Let's face it.

When is last time we were all so geeked about the division?

I liked what happened post fight. I thought Wilder punked Tyson. I don't think Fury expected the response he got.

But bottom line, no matter who you think won the prick waving contest...IT WAS EXCITING!!!!

And we almost NEVER said that when Wlad held the lineal.

I am going to enjoy ALL of this while it lasts.

We have Wilder, Fury, Joshua, Ortiz and a slew of others with legit shots.

The heavies are must see again, folks.

I agree with those saying Heavyweight boxing needs this.

It does. The hype train was long overdue at the platform.

Fury, flaws aside, is injecting a sense of theatre, long since missed in the heavyweight division.

Entertaining stuff, loved it.
Some people complain about the quality of the top heavyweights at the moment, personally I love the fact that all of these guys are so vulnerable.

This was a good weekend for the heavyweight division, Haye is back, a new IBF titlist, a KO of the year candidate delivered by a heavyweight titlist and the linear champion making sure he is in the middle calling out his rivals.
A lot of good matches to be made in the heavyweight division and I think we'll be lucky enough to get most of them.

It seemed a little to "WWE"ish, but I think it is exactly what Showtime was looking for. The previous generation of kings Lewis, Tyson, and Holyfield in the building, and the new generation there as well stirring up the pot.
I think Wilder and Fury will take care of other business this year (Wilder - Povetkin and Martin, Fury - Klitschko and MAYBE Haye), while continuing the antics to generate demand to fight each other. Ortiz and Joshua will become major contenders, Klitschko will retire, and Parker will get in the mix somehow as well. 2016 should be really good for the division.

It sure was!

And we also got to see Povetkin, who made a rare USA trip to view the fight live. It's strange that Povetkin still has yet to debut in the USA.

It would have been perfect if we had seen Luis "The Real King Kong" Ortiz in attendance last night.

As for Fury. I wasn't shocked in the least, he's truly a loose cannon. I was just hoping there wouldn't be any physical contact thus starting a ring malay and leading to banning Fury from USA travel. Jeez. What were the security guards thinking when letting Fury enter the ring? And where was anyone to break them up when they went face to face?? LOL, Lou DiBella was the eventual only man to split them up.

Exactly!

How can anyone hate this?

How can anyone bitch about this?

They were in the ring together last night and Fury got thoroughly "clowned."

The only reason that they won't meet in the future is because they will both likely lose before it could happen.

It is called marketing. Boxing, especially the HW div, is in dire need of it. I will watch every fight of both Fury and Wilder because of what has gone on in their fights, not the before or after. But, thanks to Fury jumping in the ring WWE style and getting himself bitch slapped profusely by Wilder, the heavyweight div is back on the planet's radar screens with a vengeance.

...I'm sure this kind of marketing works for some...didn't say I won't watch them, I meant it won't motivate me to pay for watching them just because of these post fight antics...

I DO NOT see Tyson Fury's antics as fake. The truth is, he's a traveller gypsy that truly likes to fight.

Last night Deontay was talking post fight in the ring about taking on mandatories first.

I believe Fury would have gladly accepted to fight Wilder in the parking garage for free with no one else watching.

Can't believe nobody's posted the video of this yet. It's classic HW trash-talk that the HWs having been lacking for years:

We should see lots more of this before they actually get around to fighting... :OhYes:

Check the 0:12 second point of the video...did Wilder call him Fairy or Fury? Hard to tell...

Brilliant you got to love the Fury

I thought both guys were great talking smack.

But Wilder's "I will baptize you" was the line of the night.

And here is 100% truth: if you are a casual fan watching that, all of a sudden
you just got a little more interested in the heavies.

Call it WWE, call it whatever you like.

It was GOOD FOR BOXING.

They are both great at talking, they could hype this fight into something huge, I don't really believe Wilder would come to the UK though and Tsyon shouldn't fight in the U.S. Without his Uncle there IMO.

You keep saying this and that Wilder "sonned" Fury, and yet all I saw was a nervous looking Wilder ask if Fury wanted to fight a real fighter and that he'd fight him anywhere.

Meanwhile Fury fought Klitschko in Germany while Wilder has defended 2/3 of his title fights in Alabama with the third being on his bosses card in New York. It pretty clear to see which one was speaking from the heart...

I didn't see it last night. Watched it today and quickly realized anyone thinking Wilder won that exchange has blinders on.

They were just words and words mean nothing, but Wilder definitely looked uncomfortable and shaken.

after watching the way he danced and wouldn't engage against Chisora and Klitschko I don't see a man that likes to fight , technically box , yes , but fight is another thing .
