who should the IBF Champ face next?

He'll have a voluntary against some stiff in the IBF top I imagine. They'll go for the easiest option out there i'd imagine.

Looking at the current IBF top 15 I have a feeling it will be Cunningham who is with Haymon aswell

Martin has skills surprised me a bit regardless of the injury i think he was gonna beat Glazkov anyway .

Surely he will offer Glazkov a re-match depending on how bad the injury is?

Looks like AJ could soon be mandatory with Glazkov out and surely Teper being removed for doping?

Seems like a lot of people are thinking a unification with Wilder is next but I think that only happens if the networks throw stupid money at the two boxers.

Chisora would be a good shout. Huge interest in the UK if the fight happened.

But seriously, he's got the biggest bullseye possible on his head. Everyone is going to be wanting him because it not only gets you a "title", but that parlays into bigger paydays and unification attempts.

Martin is going to be getting calls from people today who wouldn't have even used him as a sparring partner on Friday. It must be a really exciting time for him!

Haymon knows Martin risks losing to just about anyone on that list, so will try and get a unification fight with Wilder.
Wilder dodges Povetkin.

Fury beats Wlad, then has a unification fight with Wilder.
Fury dodges Ortiz.

Then they have a rematch or 2.

Ortiz, Povetkin, Joshua and Parker will be left holding their d1cks for a while yet

He already out pointed the sturdy yet limited Alvaro Morales in a rematch.

Unfortunately the best prediction is taking a look at alphabet rankings. The top iBF guys either failed a drug test, just got knocked out cold or have other dates until you get to Cunnigham. Cunningham is a Haymon fighter as someone else indicated, he had a close loss to Glaskov and he's less dangerous than some. So my guess is Martin vs Cunningham.

I know you were joking about Morales. My bad, you were right, there was no rematch. Was thinking about Seth Mitchell who "avenged" his draw in a points win rematch against Morales who had 7 draws !

I don't know much about the politics behind the gloves, but I heard once that it's allowed to ignore the mandatory (Povetkin) if you unify two belts. So with a bit of bad luck Povetkin needs to wait another year...

Daddy Al will make Wilder drop the WBC rather than fight Povetkin, and then we'll see Wilder vs Martin for the IBF Title. Further diminishing the significance of that title, and the reputation of Wilder in the process. Wilder will probably beat Martin, but all that I'll take from this move is he's too chickenshit to fight Povetkin...and I figure that's how most everyone else that follows the sport will see it too.

Martin didnt look horrible but he definitely needs alot of work. Pretty much anyone in the TOP 15 should be the favorite against him.

No, the opponents were stiffs (much like a host of Joshua foes), but you could tell he had high potential.

He's improved quite a bit since the Morales bout, and would be a good bet to dispose of any of the IBF psuedo-contenders.

It's good to see Americans like Martin and Wilder making the Heavyweight division great again.

He's realistically got one payday out of this belt as I can't see him defending it.

Money wise Joshua in the UK or Wilder unification make sense.
Fighting anyone else on that top 15 for money that isn't life changing is a huge risk for Martin.

He gets fed to David Haye..... after all Haye defeated a "top ten contender" and fades away into obscurity, while Haye cashes out against the Wilder/Fury winner, or defends his meaningless newly won belt against poser Joshua.
