wlad - fury II still not announced - why?

wlad's chances evaporate with every month passing
by. the march/april slot seems already impossible,
so this means may/june. bad move if it was wlad's
decision. maybe he retires without a rematch.

thoughts?

Serious negotiations between Fury and Klitschko are starting this week.

They'll likely have the date and venue set by the end of this month, or the first week of February.

Lol, wtf does this rematch have to do with Vitali or who he fought like 5 years ago?

He fought Ross Purrity and Corrie Sanders after Wlad was KO'd by them, but those fights were a long time ago and Vitali has been retired for a few years at least. If this was 5 years ago and Wlad just got beat, then it would be realistic to look to Vitali to take the challenge, but he's well past his boxing career now.
But that's all beside the point. The rematch will happen and this talk of ducking is very premature. Wlad does not want to go out on that last performance and he has never been a ducker anyway.

Isn't it Vitaly who fights those who beat his brother? Or maybe just everyone except Fury, yes, better not to fight dangerous fighters.

Wlad ducking out of this rematch is the final nail in the Klitschko legacy.
Have you gone full-blown retard today? Never go full retard.

What a weird post.

As another poster has said....this is full retard.
Vitali is turning 45 years old this year. He has been retired from boxing for years already.
He is now the mayor of Ukraines capital city, with a population of about 3 million people.

Have you been living under a rock for the last few years?

This is Vitalis chance to set things right and to restore his honor. There is no denying that but Vitaly bowed out disgracefully all them years ago and you are right, he probably hasn't grown a pair since then.
I'm not even a Klitschko fan but that sentiment is beyond ridiculous. Fighters are allowed to retire. So Marciano and Lennox Lewis have no honor because they retired?

What possible excuse can anyone think of for Vitaly fighting Chisora and Charr instead of Tyson Fury? That both of their names had C in them perhaps?
I read somewhere that the K2 offered Fury's team the fight straight after he beat Chisora but they turned it down as they felt Tyson was not ready (rightfully so).
So they instead looked at Helenius, but then he got a gift of a decision against Chisora, which lead to them offering Chisora the fight instead.

The delay in making the rematch is likely due to TV dates in the UK, Sky are probably looking at April for another Joshua PPV and want the date of Fury/Klitscho pushed back, which has pissed off the Furys and they may be looking elsewhere.

I too have been "reading" and I also read "somewhere" that Vitali decided not to fight Fury cause he knew that he'd never win that fight and that Vitali never made any offers to Fury. Then I also read somewhere that Vitaly hasn't deteriorated any physically nor mentally but that he's just too chickenshit to step up and make the comeback VS Fury.
You, sir, are an idiot.

Feel free to conitinue your ridiculous arguement with someone else, I've got better things to do.

The sad thing about this is that these pathetic Klitschko fans are going to convert to the church of Tyson Fury and when they do they'll be just as hateful in their newe roles as when they were K2 fans. Until they've however grown into their new roles they'll be somewhat sensitive and they'll need to call people idiots to boost their ego's.
You're a fool. Both Klitschkos (in time) will be remembered as great champions. You don't dominate a division for over a decade (regardless of the competition) and not earn stripes. For the record, neither Klitschkos have ducked anyone, that goes 10 fold for Vitali, who was a natural fighter, unlike the younger Klitschko.

If Fury wins rematch (you maybe surprised what happens) I give him credit for his victory (although shocked at Wladimirs performance) - if he does win again, let's see how long his reign lasts.

lennox lewis was behind on all three cards
and won by cut. hard to imagine a more
deserved reason for a rematch, yet vitali
retiring at 41 clearly dominating all of his
last fights is questionable.

that is quite some logic and one doesn't
need to be a klitschko fan to see it is flawed
from beginning to end.

A deliberately and illegally and systematically inflicted cut. If there was a legitimate referee in that fight Lewis would have been disqualified.

Why would anyone want to see them fight again?

It is maybe, top 3, worst fights I've ever seen in my life, in the ring and in life in general, and yet people want to see it again?

A few year ago there was Danny Garcia/Mauricio Herrera in an ugly fight. Very ugly, but still 10X better than Wlad/Fury.
The boxing public seemed to say, "yeah, it could of gone either way, but we don't want to see it again".

Fury go fight Wilder ... for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world :witzend:
Wlad go fight Charles Martin.

Wlad and Fury shouldn't be allowed to be in the same building ever again.

I feel comments regarding waterbottles and the FBI coming.

But very well, please do explain how Chisora and Charr were more "worthy" of getting a title shot than Fury.
you do understand these are clearly two very
different topics? do you?

So Chisora and Charr were less deserving than Fury and Vitalys retirement IS questionable. Ok thank you for clearing that up for me.
wow. another genius. that's my day.
