Haye is looking to make a big impact & sparking David Price will not do anything in that regards.

A match would joshua,would be easy meat for david .joshua had a chance to be lennox but looks more and more like a,very poor mans bruno in a poor era.

I wouldn't be too hyper-critical of Haye.
He is still ultimately building after a long lay off and I was the first to say he shouldn't expect to just walk in at world level.
Price still packs a dig, has the height and reach and represents a risk of sorts

Ultimately, yes, if this was made, Haye scores a KO and it would be aimed at the more gullible casuals
but if it's on free to view tv, me and you are wathcing it as well and enjoying a good KO

This fight wont ever happen, Haye wants to get right back into the World title picture again so he needs to fight a top 10 ranked opponent or at least a big name in America to get people talking again.
David price on the other hand is still getting into the European title picture and after his last fight he still needs to rebuild his standing before making another push.

I hope not, Price seems like a nice guy.

It would probably take at least an year for Price to come back to the level where he can be taken as a credible challenge for Haye. In that time Haye will be already retired.

Bit harsh there. Price seems a nice guy, I'm sure he has a few fans and although I ain't keen on Haye I think several thousand keen boxing fans would tune inin addition to the "gullible casuals".

Now if you'd said gullible casuals about the Great Boxing Robbery (Haye Harrison) I'd have agreed. I had a friend paid 15 quid for that

.... a guy like Price should have the physicality to outbox Haye. Just not the confidence (maybe speed/ workrate too). It's a pity. I think of what some of the good American heavies of yesteryear would have done to Haye...they'd have taken him out quickly and without much fuss.

Let's remember this is David Price we're talking about.....Haye's movement and speed would confuse Price so much, that this wouldn't last a round!

I'm sure Price is a lovely big bloke and I'm not meaning to insult him.
He has fans, Haye has fans and as I said earlier in the thread boxing fans like me or you will watch virtually any fight if it's free.
But there are a lot of casual fans that tune into things like this and buy into the hype yet don't know who Terry Flannagan is.
And what frustrates me more is they buy into the Haye vs Harrison or the Cleverly vs Bellew and moan that it's sh1t.
Well I could have told you that before hand.
Or they expect Floyd vs Manny to be fight of the century because it was advertised as fight of the century and moan when it isn't as if it's some big shock when we'd been predicting for a year that it would be a massive disappointment.

I personally would like to see Price retire. If he got in the ring with Haye, a world class fighter, he would be badly knocked out all over again. It would be a very quick fight indeed, but in that short time Price could get very badly hurt.

If it does happen, it's a shocking match-making decision. Price has nothing left to offer the sport, and sure as hell aint beating Haye.

Not even sure it'd be a step up from De Mori at this point.

Thats well over the top.price would also KO De Mori in a round, and is a talented if chinny fighter with a big punch.
He is tall and had the power to ko most heavy weights.

Having said that, I would still expect a Haye KO win at some point

Haye would of knocked Price out before the first Tony Thompson happened. Now he would destroy him! No thank you.
