With Johnson out and Saunders pulling out, who should GGG face next?

I personally would like to see him face Jacobs next, though that seems unlikely.

Jacobs is extremely unlikely.

Best case scenario is probably Heiland. Lee wouldn't be bad either despite the fact that he's coming off a loss.

GGG-Bute at 166lbs while waiting for Canelo to grow a pair?

I'd watch it based on Bute's last performance. :bag: :box:

Jacobs, Heiland, Wade, Magomedov, Murata, Khytrov or Douglas.
Plenty of names out there for GGG to face whilst waiting on Canelo or Saunders...

How many of those are Haymon fighters?

Heiland has been mentioned for a while as a possible GGG opponent and would be a fine choice in the circumstances. Of course GGG and Alvarez could just fight each other, but this is boxing....

I think Jacobs, Wade and Khytrov are Haymon fighters.
The rest should be do-able...

WBC should be forcing GGG and Canelo to fight immediately.

Neither have opponents for their interim bouts so just do it May 7th Las Vegas arena would be MEGA.

he's 18-0 and would be a decent keep busy fight for GGG, even if it is only sold on the fact he is facing an undefeated US fighter.
GGG needs opponents and many of the bigger names in the MW division (Lee/Quillin/Soliman) are coming off losses to lesser fighters than GGG.
Undefeated vs. Undefeated, whos 0 will go, still draws eyeballs...

Who the hell is Johnson? He should be ruled out on the basis that I'm pretty sure he doesn't exist.

Putting on weight ahead of a fight he's likely going to have to boil down to 155lbs?

A decent looking match up but I can't see it

Does GGG officially have the record for the most feared fighter in the history of the sport? How many people have dodged him already in his career? It has to be a record. He's more feared than Tyson was back in the day. I remember Tyson's prime very well and it was nothing like this. This is absolutely ridiculous. Someone agree to fight this kid already. It's freaking boxing. ugh

He should make an offer to Cotto. 50/50 and give him a couple of pounds... say 158. Might be tempting for him to take a final big payday but i doubt it.

Lee or Eubank Jr i guess would be stay busy options.

Golovkin is so far ahead of the rest of the division it's boring. He needs to make a date for battering Canelo then find some proper fights at 168.

this. he should mangle saunder's biggest rival and hopefully dimish that saunders-eubank payday.
if the other titlists won't fight ggg the old strategy is to destroy all their options in the division.
lee would have to take 1/10 of what he would have gotten if he had beaten saunders, which is
life-changing money, which i think is going to happen to saunders as he tries to take safer
fights against other guys in the top 15. there are no safe guys for saunders in the top 15.

His fight with Curtis Stevens was pretty good actually. GGG would ruin him in 3 rounds maximum though.
