Fury/Klit II scheduled for May 7th

Does this feel like a ridiculously long time away?
If heavyweight champs can only step in the ring once every 6,7 months then, taking into account optionals, mandatories, record padding and ducking, unification won't take place till 2020. Anyone care to wait around for that?
Wilder, by no means the man, will likely have had 3 title fights between the two Fury/Klit dances!
EDIT: DATE IS ACTUALLY MAY 7TH!

May 7th comes from an article in the Daily Star which seemed unaware that 1860 Munich play in that stadium at 14:30 on Sunday 8th.

Peter Fury on Bunce's podcast this week said that May 7th date has come from nowhere and it could be any time from April and June, and he said for venue "UAE possible, Germany possible, UK very possible".

Narrowing it right down for us there.

I bet you the UK option is Glow, Bluewater.

The UAE option is sounding better already.....

Can't imagine it will be UAE, but let's face it, they could probably out-bid anyone and no doubt build a custom-made arena.

How many times have we heard about a MEGA fight happening there?
It never happens. They're simply not enough expats/locals interested in the sport to organize an event there.
As far as we all know, the fight is planned for the end of May at Wembley stadium. That's what both camps have been saying recently at least.

I heard Bayern Munich's ground from somewhere.

May 7th does seem an unnecessarily long way off. Maybe Klitschko feels that he needs that much time to prepare for Fury. And I wouldn't bet against in being held in Germany (again).

Don't get me wrong, I hope it's not in the UAE. In fact I hope it's somewhere around Manchester as that would be pretty handy for me!

Or that Fury feels that with every passing month, 40 year old Klit gets that little bit more beatable.
