Tyson Fury v BJS , whats the differences ?
Some say BJS is technically the better boxer but less of a character hence why it is Fury that is the better ticket seller etc
Guys whats your opinion on the difference between the two,an why do more people wanna buy tickets more so for one than the other ?

The risks fury takes make some of his fights more entertaining

Plus he's a heavyweight, heavyweight gets more attention, always has always will

Heavyweights are always more marketable so you can't really compare the two. But if you're asking why he's not more popular than he is I reckon:

1) The main part of his career has been on allegedly, which probably gets you exposure to boxing fans but not other mainstream sports fans

2) He's not that big of a puncher and has boxed his way to very comfortable decisions in most of his fights, which unfortunately doesn't build as much interest as dismantling people or knocking them out

Why would we compare them?
I realise the motivation of the OP and I think it's a bit of a shame.

What is the motivation? He is a massive fan of both.

Fury being on channel 5 and making a lot of noise in interviews etc has helped him get across.

Has Fury actually been a big ticket seller? I'm sure he will now as he is the Heavyweight Champion of the World. Previously, he had to be part of an event rather than a headline act to be in a show that shifts a decent amount of tickets

I am talking personality wise ,just something my mrs pointed out to me she thinks us travellers take to Tyson better because when he plays up in interviews he does it with a twinkle in his eye ...billy joe on the other hand seems to not have that type of charm offensive.
When we went out to Germany there must if been as many of us gypsies out there than the all the fans put together at BJS V LEE fight .
My dad is staunch BJS fan from day one , bought him a good ticket for Christmas to go watch BJS V LEE ,TBH we was a bit underwhelmed at how few had come out to watch that fight ,although there was more there than Eddie Hearns prediction of just 4000 fans

Fury is a Heavyweight and they get far more attention, always have done. He's also a huge heavyweight, and his team and promoter have pushed his profile harder than Saunders' camp have
Fury was never what you would call a big ticket seller though. He never had a huge following from the off.

Never a ticket seller but had a good following on TV from the off. We will see how he does now. David Haye never sold many until he won the title.
