Aston looks wide open though

Aston looks poor, Patterson looks solid though

Patterson only 6 ko's in 16 wins. Wasn't expecting that.

Patterson impresses me more each passing fight,that was an excellent performance,should've been over earlier,that body shot was perfect,Aston is one brave hombre

Realistically I think he'll peak somewhere around domestic level, or just above. Flashy, very awkward and spoils a lot, but he's not the biggest puncher and once he comes up against better fighters than Aston I can see him having trouble when he's put under pressure, not the best up close because his arms are so long and there's several better fighters out there right now domestically.

I've been a big fan of Patterson for a while now, I stumbled across him about 3years ago when he was fighting Max Maxwell on Eurosport and new he was something special, I really think with the right fights and if he isn't rushed he could go av long way, with regards to his power I don't honk he's a massive puncher but he certainly has pop, and it's not like he's been fighting knock overs he's been in with a few decent lads, who don't get KO'd often the likes of , I'll continue to support him who ever he fights, I remember everyone righting him off against Gaynor and we all know how that went, looki g forward to his next fight

Some good 'in house' fights there that should be easy enough to make. Joe Selkirk as well if he manages to stay injury free. Corcoran v Patterson would be a good mix of styles.

I think he's more likely to get thrown in domestically than with Smith, there's loads of names that he could fight in house, Williams, Corcoran, Selkirk and Kelly all come to mind. was on bocksnation last night mate, good fight. would love to see him fight kelly, be a good yardstick of where they both are. didnt know ote about kelly before smith mauled him so this would be a more even match. patterson looked good, bit of a slow starter but once he found his range he was very accurate. an enjoyable fight and good top of the bill too.

You might be right, but I wouldn't bet against him in any of those fights and tbh these guys could all have the beating of each other, regardless we have a pretty good looking super welterweight division in the UK regardless and if all of these guys fought at British level were in for some very good fights

Good fighter Patterson, pretty dirty mind. Punching behind the head constantly in the clinch, I thought he was lucky not to lose a point. Not that it would have mattered.

Looks very good! Improving all the time, Didn't like the way Aston was holding his arms out when they got close so the ref can break them, he's a big strong lad why not plant his feet and fire away????

That was the first time I've seen him box and he looks a skilled and versatile boxer, he keeps a level head and has a good temperament - the body shot was legal and he knew it but he didn't moan to the ref or after. It's a very interesting division and I think he'd be too slippery and clever for Corcoran.

I have sparred many rounds with Patterson. He was always extremely fit, dedicated and talented. Lost very few amateur fights. Not a big puncher though

He seems to hold his power through the rounds though and punches that can be taken earlier cfan catch someone out later on.

Corcoran's a really tough fight for him IMO, he doesn't try and work his way in like Aston was doing, just goes for it and lets his hands go, be interesting to see how Patterson goes when he hasn't got the time or space to get his own punches off like he did last night and if he can get Corcoran to respect his power.

Think Liam Williams takes them all out anyway, him and Smith would be a great fight sometime next year.
