I would have thought that Crolla would try to make an all British world title fight before his mandatory.

There seemed to be no effort to do that.

Linares is fighting Zlaticanin next in March or April, they agreed a deal a couple of weeks ago.

It wouldn't surprise me if Crolla swerved Barroso to fight the winner of Flanagan and Mathews .
The boxing politics with differing promoters could surely be overcome.
A world title fight with Flanagan at the Manchester arena would be a money spinner for both
I believe both lads went to the same school ? .
A third fight with Mathews would be less appealing but still a more attractive proposition to Barroso

He said in Manchester Evening News the other day he expected to be out again in March or April, but no name was mentioned. So given that lines up with this, I'd imagine a deal is close for him. Nothing on at the Arena on Sat 26th March.

I like Crolla, but I fear any of those he has to be facing now -- Barroso, Flanagan etc -- spell bad news for him.

Brook's fighting March 26th, Crolla might have to fight Barroso outside Manchester, next date available I can see is May 28th unless they do it on a Friday night and the only dates with nothing on are all the day before shows they already have planned.

I see Crolla winning this wide and comfortable.

Surely Crolla- Flanagan happens at some point. Surely Hearn/warren could get together for that one.
