Looks like Barrera-Ward is on. They say here there will be an official announcement on Thursday Jan 28.

But can Sullivan Barrera receive fair officiating in Oakland? Will Ward have a personal referee like Jack Reiss working the fight, who'll permit him to use illegal tactics?

Ward puts me to sleep too, with all his spoiling, holding and clamping.

The way you ALWAYS create topics like this makes me seriously want to know your definition of fairness.

Anytime the white guy wins is fair. If there is no white guy, the more accomplished ethnic fighter must lose.

Very good explanation.
Made me think of my bias ...
Which ever fighter looks more skilled to my eyes ...
but he has to show that he wants to win the fight.
If he's not doing that, then I want the less skilled guy to win.
But there are a few unskilled fighters like Rios and Kirkland, whose aggression is so gangsta, I have to root for them.

That's what I liked about Froch, he really wasn't all that skilled (not totally unskilled) but fornicate me he loved to fight, Andre Dirrell should have had a better career then him by a long way.

Ward is washed up , his career is going nowhere . I found his fights boring to watch , with his spoiling dirty tactics , he must have learned from Bernard Hopkins another boring fighter .

Ward is plain better than everyone, no cheating needed. Cry babies/fanboys ruin the forum.

No chump, has ever cried louder, than this bitch about this fight. It's become my favorite gif, and I'm so happy it will echo in eternity. Normally wouldn't think that, but these crybabies are the worst. Lower than a snake's ballbag.

Can the officials be fair in Oakland?
Officials have nothing to do with the ass whippings Andre hands out.
I hear a lost of forum posters and boxing laymen pointing out how Ward 'cheats".
But, where are the point deductions?
And more importantly, where are the complaints from his opponents?
Look at how folks talk about Tim Bradley's use of his head.
Look at how folks used to talk about a guy like Golata way back in the day.
Where is that type of talk about Ward?
Find us that and we can ask questions like those in the OP.
